Anyone else listening to the fatman and wifebeater on talksport?
They're almost making the tedium exciting
They're almost making the tedium exciting
How dare they........How selfish!. After a few days off it, i can't seem to think without conjuring ridiculously vivid, yet silly situations and images in my head.
Most of the guys i know drive, so it's not too much of an issue if i'm not on the road.
its as i have said. city want to make a splash so they put a bid forward to spurs that cant be accomplished which will of course cause us to raise our bid.
feckign twats!!
Would've been exciting had they actually had a chance to buy these players. I doubt they'll get any of them. I agree with Simon, it's a Page Ranking exercise on the part of their new owners. . .and Sky's making it out to be something it's not. Robinho to Chelsea and Berb to United are the only big transfers that are on.
I'm gettin really pissed off that every single football site on the web is slow as feck.
Faith is a good thing.bahama im with you mate, my world has been turned upside down, but i got a small feeling inside me somewhere that we might get some good news later... maybe thats just called hope tho
The Last Minutes of Levy
Suddenly the world began to spin for Levy, all that he had accomplished meant nothing, because Berbatov was going to escape from his talon-like clutches. This horrifying inevitability broke his heart over and over again, pounding against his organ like a woodpecker on speed. More importantly though was the drunken Scotsman in front of him who held a .45 Desert Eagle aimed at his temple.
As panic set in, Levy embraced the only hope of escape he had and quickly stuffed his compiled FA Complaint report into his mouth. He started to chew at the papers, tearing at the core of them, ripping apart everything he had constructed. Fergie let off a manic-cackle, his gun waving in the air as he jumped up and down on the spot, he pointed at Berbatov and then back at himself, miming the word 'Mine' over and over again, then he gave a barely perceptible nod to Gill. He knew what was coming, he had lost everything, and know the transfer assassin himself was going to claim him, closing his eyes, he breathed a sigh of relief, but it was cut short by the soft hiss of the silencer.

This All Could Have Been So Much Easier
There’s less than four hours to go and I imagine you, like me, are sitting at your computer desperate for any updates.
If someone had told me yesterday that we’d be in a bidding war with Manchester City, believed to be around £33 million, for Dimitar Berbatov, I would have laughed in their face. Is this really happening?
All summer we have gone back and forth with Tottenham Hotspur, lodging two official bids but getting no joy. Spurs value the player at £30 million, whilst United were intent in spending ‘only’ £25 million.
So in an attempt to save us a few quid, we’ve put off finalising the deal until the last day of the transfer window. Spurs aren’t even playing Berbatov any more and have already spent the money they will get from his transfer, so obviously they want to sell him. United figured they’d try their luck and see just how badly Spurs wanted to sell him. Badly enough to lower their asking price by a few million?
This is a plan that would have worked as well… if not for City being bought by multi-millionaires who are willing to splash their cash on everyone! As as well bidding for Berbatov, their owner claims they have also tried to sign David Villa and Mario Gomez.
Now that City have had their bid accepted and seemingly United haven’t offered any more money, we’re left to wait and see what happens as the clock ticks down.
Is the fact that United haven’t made another bid indication that they’re not interested in stumping up cash for another British record this summer? Did Berbatov have talks and complete a medical at Carrington without Spurs’ permission? Only time will tell I suppose.
However, United will be left to regret not stumping up the cash earlier, as now, if we do manage to sign the player, we are looking at an even larger transfer fee than Spurs were initally looking for.
I will keep you updated.
It depends on the position of the stars.right I have been away for an hour, and cant be arsed to read the last 10 pages, have we signed him yet?

Still here I see.
This is too much!!!!
It's obvious he wants to join us but I'm a little alarmed by the Sky Sports retardedness and shit stirring. I knew they were a little dense but to keep this "tug of war" story going when it's obvious he's signing for us is stupid. It's nearly 9pm and Berbatov has been with United since lunchtime. He going to nip over to City, have a quick chat and decide to sign for them isn't he
fecking Skytards
Exactly
I think Hughsie is beginning to dislike United.
What I want to know is what is going to happen to United considering they have given Berbatov a medical without Spur's consent.
Anyone ?
Apparently levy has blamed the forthcoming transfer of berbatov on northern rock.
