just in from work. to be honest, this is surprisingly exciting. i know people moan about muppetry a lot but come on - last day of transfer window and suddenly city try and hijack our bid for our only summer target. on the same day they becoe mega rich. i'm as shocked as i was two summers ago when tevez and mascherano went to west ham.

amazing, for all the bullshit spouted here and in the press of what will happen, no one predicted this. what a strange and wonderful world. it's certainly more exciting, and important, than the super cup was.

if i wanted dimitar before, i want him even more now!

Dam my timezone has put me in quite a dilemma if this doesn't get done within the next 3 hours.

No way I could stay up that late waiting, while at the same time there's no way I could sleep without knowing we got him.

How stupid are these Setanta reporters, make it sound like Berb just popped into the ground unannounced for a chit chat before an official discussion with City.
 
Andy Garcia is getting some work in today travelling round Manchester, while Berbs visits Greggs for a roast chicken bake.
Maybe this is how fergie will get round Levy saying he never gave us permission.

I really can't believe United would be breaking any rules to sign Berbatov.

Something not right with what's happening with City's bid for Berbs. They don't even know what's happening financially as they're carrying out due dilligence at the club.
