Can someone pls point to a source where they are getting the 'Levy hasn't given us permission' info from?

I can't see this reported on any of the major online sites.

I cannot believe that we would be stupid enough to (be caught) talking to a player without permission on deadline day. Especially a player of a club that has already gone through with tapping-up proceedings against us.

Surely if we're actually talking to him, without permission from Spurs, we are breaching some sort of law?

Sky are running this! Notice the amount of conflicting stories they break? The deal would have been done this morning if it wasn't for them, they're getting Spurs to wait so they can keep viewers through till midnight. :lol:

i remember a similar thing with rooney when toon offered more money for him yet he signed for us... i expect something similar to happen with berbatov..

i have a source which claims berbatov has been given a pen from Gill as a present, now all that needs to be done is get him to sign the contract which Gill claims is going to be disguised by getting a fan to go up to berba and ask for an autograph while actually getting him to sign the contract and not some random piece of paper
