I reckon Berbs has signed, United will wait to add to the drama but he is ours

There really is going to be mass suicide in here if he doesn't sign. If we don't here anything more definite in the next couple of hours i'm going to get very nervous

Thanks its all clear now

I guess I should do some work.

but I will be looking every 5 minutes to see if he has signed yet
Hopefully i can stop looking quite sometime before midnight

I shall communicate with you the second it goes through, I am telepathic

Its probably nothing but I spotted this in the BBC Premier League Transfer Tracker

0950: I have just been scanning through the various texts and 606s that have been flooding in. Lots of cracking airport chat, I have just finished my post round and seen Michael Owen, my mate has just seen Berbatov in Manchester etc However, I have to say there are an incredible amount of people claiming to have spotted Alan Smith in Liverpool, the train of thought being that he is on his way to Everton.

Make of that what you will

it would be quite funny if we dont sign him.

but i doubt that will happen,
this is nailed on.
surely? :nervous:

It's not been going too well today. I'd have expected him to make a move by now, or at least to have agreed a fee with Spurs.

This reminds me of the rooney transfer. I think we very very late to sign him. I remember because i used to be on the bbc message boards, and people were having mass suicides there aswell.

speaking of the bbc messageboards, anyone use them? its a shame they decided to scrape them, they were preety decent. But i guess if they hadnt been scraped, i would never have found this place:)

MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS RECKONS ITS A DONE DEALBerbatov to beat deadline

DIMITAR Berbatov is likely to be a United player by midnight tonight to end the drawn out saga.

It is 62 days since the summer transfer window officially opened and the Reds have had the 27-year-old Bulgarian striker on top of their list from day one.

Indeed Sir Alex Ferguson had hoped to snap up Berbatov from Tottenham in the last window in January but was turned down.

Spurs' £30m valuation and United's initial £19m bid has now been bridged and the player was expected in Manchester today to undergo a medical.

Once the medics give the green light all the i's and t's will be dotted and crossed on a four-year Old Trafford contract and the protracted switch will finally be pushed through before the transfer window closes tonight.

They were okay until they decided to completely destroy it. Although it was coming as there were too many kids on there and it couldn't handle the numbers.

The fee for Rooney was agreed early in the day, he travelled to Carrington before ud muppets were awake.
