Madrid are getting desperate. So far today Cazorla and Villa - both supposed to be Madrid targets - have agreed deals with Villareal and Valencia respectively to renew their contracts. Meanwhile they've got Robinho straining at the leash and a good offer from Chelsea.
If they let Robinho move then they'll not only have failed to strengthen the team (despite Schuster's requests) they'll have cash in their pockets and a Calderon trying to save face.
A last minute swoop for someone is on the cards. Kaka? Berbatov? One last swipe at Ronaldo?

I just can't see Madrid going for Berbatov to replace Robinho. Just don't think it will happen. Arshavin is a different story though.
