Does sound possible though. Tottenham doesn't play until sunday, and both deals could be done nice and easy, which means Arshavin will be up for the chelsea game.
 
I honestly think that we wont sign him now, but if we do ill be delighted as it will make us again the best team in the country, at the moment without berbatov, i think we will struggle in a few games before ronaldo returns, and i think these points will be decisive.

Please lets sign berba and give ourselves a better chance, i think we are gonna do it the hard way though as i just said

I have this horrible HORRIBLE feeling that Real Madrid are about to come in and attempt to scupper our deal for Berbatov, by offering Saviola and cash.

With Robinho going to Chelsea (so it seems), they need a replacement. The obvious one would be David Villa, but with a new President appointed at Valencia, the fans would NOT be happy upon his appointment if he sold Villa, which makes me think Berbatov is the one they could turn to.

What a fitting way it would be for Levy to give Fergie the 2 fingers, and Real to get one over us because of what happened with Ronaldo.

They want Huntelaar if they don't get Villa. And Saviola earns £135 000 every week atm , Spurs can't match that. At least Spurs have a oral understanding with Spartak Moscow.
 
There was a Bulgarian Journalist on Sky Sports News today, who knows Berbatov quite well, and he said that Berbatov wants to progress his career and win things, preferably with Manchester United, who he likes very much.

I suppose things have gone so far with United, he wouldn't stab them in the back now surely.

Until his signature is on a Man Utd contract, anything can happen though.
