Once Bebe sort out his touch, he could be very very good. He has a pretty tough physique for a guy of 20 years old.

the celebration with evra before he went to chicharito was clearly something they had worked on :D

Bebe has managed to cut into the Manchester United first team after such a troubled childhood and so little top notch coaching like a lot of the United Reserves and Youth have had.

Too many were questioning his value after the shock transfer but he is starting to settle in now. The lad said he could hardly kick the ball with anxiety the first time he trained with the squad, such were the nerves but imagine what we may have on our hands after two years at United.

But the 20 year-old has admitted that his first instructions from Ferguson on his arrival at the club in August took him by surprise.

"Sir Alex told me I had to learn English quickly and to go as fast as I could to the hairdresser and get my hair cut!" Bebe said. "It was like a joke, but I think he maybe meant it too!"

:)

UEFA might only have changed it because the lads from MUTV kept contacting them about it.

Football is a magical sport sometimes. When you think of Bebes past life and how he's now playing and scoring in the Champions League. Its like a fairytale.

I think we'll all be watching Bebe's progress with some interest. Guess Ferguson will have the last laugh (yet again).

"I used to watch them on television and now I was there with them. It was nerve-racking for me. I think on my first day I wasn't even able to train properly."

Would certainly explain those ridiculous reports about his poor touch and such when he started training. Very happy he's beginning to show the doubters what the money was spent on.

Yup, thats what i thought when i read the article.

I'm dubious about that... what part of his cardboard box did he plug the bloody TV into?

Predictably one of the best things about Bebe looking actually quite promising is the abuse that twat Daniel Taylor is getting for his smear campaign. His defence today:

"probably just a bit bored of *blinkered* criticism for daring to tweet he had looked out of his depth in first weeks of training"

Aye, that's all he did, not like he published an article in a major national newspaper mocking the player and his signing a few days after he'd joined the club, or anything like that. About as impressive as the time he predicted Anderson wouldn't be near the first team for months after his mediocre debut. Then Anderson was involved in the next 30 games or so.

Here's a clue for him, if you want to earn money insulting people barely out of their childhood using innuendo and rumour maybe it's best you pick those who don't have millions of supporters.

As for the goal, it was about as much the Bursa lad's as Owen's winner against City was SWP's.

So possibly quite a bit then.

exactly this was all about getting a 'scoop'. If he can't hack it, maybe he should get a real job or perhaps not use twitter just 'cause 'everyones doing it'...:)

The source for this?? : ""probably just a bit bored of *blinkered* criticism for daring to tweet he had looked out of his depth in first weeks of training""

I like that Obertan and Bebe are big feckers too. Good to have some height up front, as well as pace. Don't think I've seen Bebe win a header yet but Obertan seems to put his huuuuge head to good use.

Same here, he just never gets his head to the ball and always miss judges them. I remember Amos trying to aim nearly every high ball to him in the Carling cup game and he'd never get his head to the ball... maybe he'd get it once out of ten times but a big lad with good strength like him should be taking advantage of those situations.

UEFA have had a rethink and decided that, erm, the other guy kicking it in is Bebe's goal after all #outrage #charity #wehatehim

Hmm, I think he likes the idea of building himself up into Bebe's biggest doubter. A bit of notoriety amongst United fans is good for business. Might be smart to just ignore him when it comes to Bebe. Why help his sad little career.

I don't think I've seen a worse crosser in a United shirt. To be honest, I would be pleasantly surprised if he made it here as a winger.

A little reality check today on how much work there still is to do but I don't see an issue, the lad has had virtually no proper coaching according to Fergie so the fact he started as brightly as he has is a bonus.

Crap performance, but there's no one to blame really. He's obviously not quite ready and we wouldn't have used him unless we had to. Hopefully he'll learn from it and we certainly know what he needs to improve on.
