Would not surprise me if his chooses not to manage us.

The rebuilding job has become so huge.

...and besides, Europa League and Jose Mourinho should not be mentioned in the same sentance.

The cheap ass owners are waiting until it's mathematically certain we go don't get 4th - that way they can sack him and Giggs and their entourage without paying compensation. They did it with Moyes. They'll do the same with LVG.

That is exactly what is happening, one thing we know, we aint winning this tournament

Someone should start a petition to get the club to hire him...
Or just sing his name at all our remaining matches:D for the full 90 mins:D
No point booing this season anymore, as it hasn't made a blind bit of difference:(

Jose was invited to attend the celebtation of the 5 year anniversary of their CL win by Moratti who isnt even involved with Inter anymore.
That trusted Mourinho mouthpiece...

29% share holder isn't he?

The Moratti family still have 30 Percent shares but he himself has stepped away from the running of the club. A good 2 years ago as well.

Mendes better be spamming woodward with calls, emalis, tweets, facebook messages, smoke signals, letters, fax and interpretive dance after this game or vice verca

He must be thinking, "Edward, what will it take for you to concede that LVG is a train wreck?"

Woody and the Glazer's should be thanking the heavens that Mourinho is out there, available and likely interested.

He is the one single person that could bring some optimism back to the club.

He could also likely persuade Ibrahimovic (with a fat wage packet) to join for a season.

And the marketing team would surely love to have a player in our team that most of our "660 million followers" (LOL) have actually even heard of that isn't three years past retirement.

The only possible negative would be be give it to Giggs till the end of the year, he does half decent and then we ignore Jose and give him the job. Apart from that, sacking him raises 0 negatives.

He is probably our best shot but, I am not jumping for joy to bring in a manager who took Chelsea in even a worst position this season.

There are about 293 insane people on this forum, Lol. What's your argument against Mourinho?

1. He plays negative footbball - what can be more negative than what LVG has served up for 2 ys now? Mourinho's negative football wins trophies atleast.
2. He doesn't stay long - How long did Moyes stay, how long will LVG stay?
3. Doesn't promote youth - Let's start producing the talent first, as we're not doing that now.
4. Took Chelsea to 16th place - A manager of his standing can be afforded a poor season or two, he won them 2 trophies in 2 yrs.

I seriously don't know how anyone can look at United right now and not want Mourinho to take charge of the club. The reputation of this club is being dragged through the mud on a daily basis & he's this only guy out there that can get us back to the top as quickly as we need to !

You always know an article is of accuracy and quality when it opens up with a photoshopped head onto the linked club's colours.

EDIT: Bah, they've changed it. Everyone loves a good photoshop. What gives?

Jose would have around £1.53 to spend at Inter. They are in great debt.

It's claimed the former Chelsea boss will be earning a bumper wage of £308,000 a week in a bid to turn around United's fortunes next season.

feck right off

Ballbag is insisting we arent even in contact with him.

I know he is a bit of a joke, but that would be shocking if we really aren't considering sacking lvg

What's so hard to believe about that?

Ferguson wanted massive wages too. Mourinho is a heavily sought after manager.

Not that the story is necessarily true, just don't see why he wouldn't get huge wages.

I have changed my vote from No to Yes recently, but I am still worried about Mourinho's style.

Chelsea in 14/15 were a strong team but so boring and rigid to watch. A lot of their games were 0-0 at half time because they were passing it around the box a lot, not attacking.

Actually Ballague is usually one of the better ones, i think he got a good few things wrong in one summer a few years ago which tarnished his rep

Getting massive wages I can accept as I think he was the second highest paid manager behind only Pep when he was at Chelsea - but THAT massive a figure? It doesn't seem believable, certainly not when there don't seem to be many (any?) other realistic clubs in for him for us to bid against.

That said, I could believe anything of the current United board when Mendes is involved

He isnt really that sought after right now

In England Chelsea, Arse, City and Liverpool are not options for him

In Spain Barc and Real also not options and In Germany Bayern the same

So it leaves possibly Italian clubs and ourselves

Didn't he tweet a few weeks back that they were talking?

Maybe he fancies a spin at the England job when we inevitably get knocked out in the group stages, and Woy is given the boot.

He'd get to stay in London, and like lots of people have already mentioned, there aren't many top club options available.

Here's what Balague said:

I keep saying it every week… at this particular time, right now, there is NO agreement with Mourinho, at all. The message that has come in from his camp is that unless they call him now and agree something, he may go to another club. That’s the message he is sending via the media.

Similar to what Duncan Castles and Rory Smith said.
