Flash news: If LVG leaves and the owners want Mourinho then only Jose could pull the plug out of such deal

Yes, but ... what about the youth?

This is the wrong thread to bring is up and I know your comment was in jest, but I was thinking the other day about the youth thing. I mean fair play to him for the amount of young players he gave a chance, but the only one that was genuinely ready for first team football was Rashford, with the double-barrel full backs coming close.

If you look at Liverpool, Arsenal and even City, you could probably find one or two youngsters that have made the breakthrough there. Essentially, he was gambling with players that shouldn't have been getting a sniff of football for this club and it turns out we barely come out better than our rivals in that regard (althugh we still owe him credit for Rashford, we can't deny him that).

Lingard starting so often has been nice, but most would argue that he is barely good enough to be a squad player.

In contrast, two of our hottest prospects (Januzaj and Pereira) have barely played.

Some fans on the Everton forum seem convinced he's their's.

They can dream all they want. Jose isn't joining a club where he has to sell his best players to fund transfers. Everton fans are deluded if they think this new owner is going to make a big difference to them.

I'm struggling to think of anything that would annoy me more.
What about a trained chimp that followed you around all the time and flicked you in the nuts every 2.5 minutes whilst whistling the mission impossible theme?

I wouldn't be surprised if he considers PSG. They have a stronger squad compared to us and more importantly champions league football.

I would. There's no vacancy there, and Blanc only just signed an extension!

The scenes if he goes to PSG.
I'm sure some of the people saying bullshit are typing with a bit of fear.

Things would have to move pretty quickly, bearing in mind Blanc is not only in situ, but didn't he sign an extension recently?

There used to be a website called warezwoody.com that played the mission impossible theme in midi form. Don't know why I just thought about that but there you go. Useless factoid of the day.

It's hardly a shock that the attendance will be so low. It's a rearranged game with 48 hrs notice

Vast majority of those out of town or abroad will not be able to attend

I was there on Sunday but couldn't make it tonight at such short notice, I would have otherwise. The attendance will be very low (especially now there is actually nothing riding on the game) but I wouldn't read much into it.

If you can make that happen, count me in. I would happily have a chimp that could do that!

You want to be flicked in the nuts every 2 and a half minutes? I mean, if you like a woman doing it, while wearing leather and shouting at you in German, that's one thing. But surely if it as a chimp it wouldn't turn you on so much?
I suppose he's just taking anything he can get.

Winning the UCL at Porto and Inter just exceeded expectations make no mistake Serie A was a 1 team league when he went there so he was guaranteed league titles, before that he went to a Chelsea side with a blank chequebook and after Inter he went to Real Madrid a side with all the possibilities to do well despite Barca

Coming to United now is nothing like the challenge he faced when he went to Chelsea, Inter, Real and then Chelsea again
We have all the resources to build a side to do well despite nobody, with no meddling owner or president, and no demand to deliver major honours immediately. He will have time and patience on his side to win us something, but getting us to challenge is not that difficult a 'process' as LVG would like us to believe.

To be fair when Pep was moving to MCFC, many MUFC fans were absolutely convinced that he would choose us over them, even though it had been announced by many that he was moving to MCFC.

so many certain he's coming, but has anybody categorically stated anywhere he's NOT coming? Just interested.

fecking bollocks, this was confirmed as a bogus account last year.
