Think every one of them has said it was a done deal about 3 months ago, just speculating, so they look like idiots if they come out with the story as its happening now as they've already claimed its done. They cannot actually offer a story, all they can do is shout about how they were right when its official.
I must be the most jaded and paranoid person here. I saw these reports and immediately thought "United will be feeding this so that everyone thinks it's on again and LVG doesn't get booed on Sunday"...........
I imagine us not being in the Champions League isnt the worst thing for Mourinho's ego. The idea of dragging a club like us off our arse is a very Mourinho thing to brag about.

So far nobody reputable has called it as being done. All indications are United have had Mourinho on ice (either via a written pre-contract or a looser verbal agreement) since February. Most of the speculation since that time has centred around United's reasons for failing to firm up whatever agreement they have in place, with accusations of indecision at board level, political manoeuvrings, alternative candidates, Van Gaal saving himself via Champions League qualification etc etc. Basically nobody knows, or will know, until after the cup final.
It's pretty obvious he is coming.

It's looked more likely than not since February. The pathetic display at West Ham has probably ruined whatever dwindling hopes Van Gaal had of surviving the summer. It'll probably happen yes, but if it does it wont be for a couple of weeks yet I would think.
