Aye. In the "no final call has been made" scenario, that makes sense. If they simply haven't decided yet, they're obviously not going to come out and deny the Mourinho part of the (possible) equation. To the fans that would effectively mean either LVG or Giggs - and thus riots.
True. But I'll say this: If he knows - and has known for months - he's done an excellent job coming across as someone who doesn't know. Several of his performances for the journos have been pure histrionics if he actually knows: He's managed to sound oddly defensive - borderline bitter, even - in exactly the manner you'd associate with someone who fears he's headed for an exit he doesn't desire (because he's a proud man and whatnot).
But who knows - perhaps he's actually a brilliant actor, contrary to what most have assumed about his so-called honesty/naivety.

It is the first time I will not be watching this. Until the last half hour last year it was boring as hell and we had shown promise then.
