Would you be happy to see Jose Mourinho become next United manager?

You don't seem to have caught on to the fact that your repetitive criticism is counter-productive. Those who thought you may have a point get fed up reading your pronouncements and your point gets lost when they stop reading your posts.

I don't post for people to agree with me or to be popular. Also I can't hide my concern of Giggs taking over

But you do post hoping people will read your posts. What's the point if no one reads them?

If they are not open minded enough to read his posts just because they dislike his tone, then it doesn't really matter.

It's one of the problems on this board. People get too bloody sensitive just about everything.

He confirms his top priority is the EPL.
Not so many options :wenger:

Nothing to do with his tone. Everything to do with repetitiveness.

I think the stuff about "going where he's really wanted" is really just a nudge to interested clubs to do something decisive; Mourinho is more pragmatic than sentimental. After years of being resentful of the (supposed) advantages Pepe and Arsene enjoy & have enjoyed, José will want to go to the club where he stands the best possible chance of outdoing Guardiola and Wenger.

How would I know "who would have taken the job and was up to the task"? I didn't canvass all the out-of-a-job managers and it's not my job to do so.

If Chelsea had your reasoning they wouldn't have sacked Mourinho in the first place.

You said because Chelsea had found one why can't we but everyone was aware that Hiddink was available and he'd already done the same once before. Are we then going to get someone no-ones heard of, or do we put an advert in the local job centre.

The whole board nowadays is a dumpfest of repetitiveness. I'd rather have someone who's consistent on his views even if it draws ire rather than folks who are just parroting others' opinion. Just look at the RAWK and Bluemoon threads, or threads bashing Chavski. People literally bring up the same old talking points ad nauseum.

People dislike devilish because the targets he chose are Giggs and Gazza, end of. Twigg posted ten times the shite and not really being called out for it, because he defends all things a United with a zeal that would shame even an Islamic fundamentalist

Didn't give much away I thought. Stared fixedly ahead when speaking about Utd. No body language expert so haven't a clue.

Only thing I take from that interview is that he looks well rested:) He needed that time off.

The mood (not in here admittedly) seems to have changed and LVG appears now to be charged less with immediate success but now more with a long term view i.e bring through young players

I'm convinced LVG will still be in charge next season barring a truly awful end to the season and not necessarily just no top 4 or FA Cup

The Telegraph's Sam Wallace says Manchester United will be desperate to keep manager Louis van Gaal for next season

Desperate to keep a man who no one else wants and who will probably retired after this job anyway... I'm sure we were desperate to keep Fergie, I'm sure we are desperate to keep De Gea, I really can't see how anyone could think we're desperate to keep LVG. Just an absurd notion

He's ours.
What makes you think that? I actually think him saying he's no contract with anyone makes me think he isn't. Things have been said over the last week or so that imo are alarming.

Why is it absurd it wouldnt surprise me one bit if the United board are thinking this way as all it appears that matters is the commercial deals.

The onion is a satirical 'news' publication, so the title is referencing the absurdity of the situation by sayin 'no it isn't even the onion'

Bloody hipsters!
*waves walking stick about*

It's a reddit page where they post ridiculous news articles that sound like the Onion, but are real.
So it makes fake stories citing a publisher that makes fake stories too?
