Jamie Jackson doesn't know what day it is.
Was he meant to post it tomorrow?

Why would Mourinho insist on a decision by 1 May? If he hasn't got a job by that stage, he might as well wait until the end of the season, surely? None of Europe's big clubs are going to change their manager between now and the end of the season, so why on earth would he be putting pressure on United to make a decision at this stage.
Nah. He's reiterated numerous times, most recently on BT Sport, that he'll be back in England for next season.Curve ball time......
I would think most of the national teams in Europe will want a new manager after the summer. Perhaps he will take over a national side for a couple of years?
I doubt he even has a sourceTo be fair Acquire Me, you have been consistent and very sure of your source but unless your source is Jose himself I don't think you can really state with certainty that he has signed a contract. Happy to be proven wrong once you reveal your source of course
I really want to believe you.. You have been saying this for the last 20 pages at least..Who has said anything about a decision by 1 of may? Pressure is also a lot of bullshit. He has signed and will be our new manager. Its just not announced yet.
Don't worry. There's not been much else to say about it all since what Bedy Moratti said apart from the odd article by people like Jackson looking for hits. Seems to be all wrapped up imo.Yup got to agree here. I got a fair bit of stick the other day when I said I think he may well be here next season. I mean, it wold be a travesty and would make for another unbearable season, but all the 'LvG being sacked / leaving rumours' have died, for the most part anyway. The Mourinho hype machine is in full drive but most of that appears media / tabloid driven. I'm definitely worried that he might be here next season.
Either you will be a caf hero or will be brutally ripped apart by the caf.Who has said anything about a decision by 1 of may? Pressure is also a lot of bullshit. He has signed and will be our new manager. Its just not announced yet.
That Spanish paper that said we have to pay him 5m if he isn't our manager by then.Who has said anything about a decision by 1 of may?

On another note who are we signing?

There are rules about these agreements. The FA (?) have to be notified within a certain period of time..I think it s a month (maybe) but I did read about this rule somewhere!Who has said anything about a decision by 1 of may? He's hardly going to be a hero for saying something that most people think will happen anyway.Either you will be a caf hero or will be brutally ripped apart by the caf.

This has to be the worst kept secret in football. I would be amazed if Mourinho wasn't our new manager. Too many things, which all line up, plus we've had:
- Bedy
- Marcotti
- Balague
- El Pais
- No LVG in promo tour video
- Woodward being a whore

Presumably the only thing stopping him being appointed now is an agreement with Chelsea not to take a job for the remainder of the season, otherwise it would be useful for him to get in as soon as possible to get his office chair adjusted correctly and throw away all the Doritos packets that Louis has stuffed into his desk drawers.I think this is just to keep the players motivated under LVG. They're trying not to do a City.
But I reckon Mourinho is already signed up.

No, if he's getting the job, and he can start now, get him in so he's ready for next season. There is work to be done.I know you're not entirely serious but i doubt Mourinho would even want to take over at this stage of the season.
And it would be sort of pointless anyway, it's April tomorrow and the season ends in what 5 weeks from now.
Wasn't there a rumour about Berta having to say either yes or no till Easter? Coincidence?doing the rounds on Twitter that Berta told Atletico he's gone and they are looking for his replacement. They seem to think Jose and Berta are Manchester United bound.
Ideal scenario - top 4 finish and FA Cup win. Mouriniho takes over and tries to get a title winning team with the platform of CL football and no trophyless stigma.
Probable scenario - Europa League football and Jose comes into a club who has won nothing in 3 years.
Disaster scenario - Europa League, no trophy, Van Gaal to see out his contract

Mourinho: 'I will not be Manchester United manager'
Former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho has ruled himself out of the running for Manchester United manager. In a statement released this morning, Mourinho stated that he was not in the running for the job and wished to end speculation over Louis Van Gaal's future.
Mourinho said "there have been rumours, but that's all they are." and "Louis Van Gaal is manager of Manchester United and I respect him as a man."
Mourinho has been widely tipped to succeed Louis Van Gaal and United manager, however, speculation emerged in the last few days that he could take over as Valencia manager after the dismissal of Gary Neville.
Louis Van Gaal is expected to continue as Manchester United manager for one more season, however he has stated in the past that he would be open to a contract extension.
We'll know for sure it was rubbish if he goes to Valencia (he wouldn't be allowed to sign for another club if he'd signed a pre-contract with us, unless we greed to release him from it).Does this mean that United have to pay José that compensation thingy as pre-contract or can we assume that this whole pre-contract stuff was made up by the media?
