Would you be happy to see Jose Mourinho become next United manager?

If those rumours of a Qatari buyout of Everton are true, then it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that Mourinho would go there with the promise of significant funds. Plus, winning the league/CL with Everton would cement his reputation as the greatest coach of all times.
Everyone reliable says United, it's way too late for any team to come in for him now, he's ours.

Are you in or in anyway associated with the club or in the media?

Are you going to reveal how you came upon the info if/when he does take over?

Im not associated with the club and have never been. I work with digital marketing, also in England, but not for Man Utd.

I think it would be a big mistake to say who gave me the information. I think its no problem to tell you guys who he got it from when he has signed.

Yeah, I'd go with Di Marzio, seems to be very reliable. Just stating that it isn't as ludicrous as people think that Jose might consider Everton given favourable circumstances.

Qatari buyout? I thought it was just one Iranian guy who has like a net worth of 1 or 2 billion

I've read about a Qatari buyout, and this Iranian thing. Not sure really, but seems like Kenwright is actively looking to sell.

If Everton get Mourinho, and we get Giggs/Van Gaal, I don't even.......

Melt down won't even come close to describing it. I honestly think I'd have to stop watching United until the Glazers sold and sanity was restored.

The Iranian guy has already bought 49.9 percent of Everton, dont think there is any Qatari coming

Why on earth would the media agree not to publish/broadcast embargoed news about this JM/Everton story?

#Jose2016 #LetsMakeUnitedGreatAgain

He's going to build a wall in defense and make better deals in the summer.

If Jose goes to Everton I'm going to lose my mind. The best manager in the world (yes, he is. Chelsea is a shithole where no manager has a chance to last. That locker room can turn on anyone) is out there available and we are hanging on with a senile old man. LVG has lost his mind, and no, Giggs isn't Pep. Heck, Pep isn't even Pep. When you take over two of the greatest club squads in history, you really haven't earned your stripes. We will see what he's made off in the coming years in the EPL. City are no where near Bayern and Barca level. Jose has already proven himself over and over again at Porto, Chelsea and Inter, and to see him not managing us is absurd.

Chill man he's not going to bargain bin Everton you can't get managers on loan.Seriously though he's not choosing Everton over us,would never happen.I'm very confident the deal is in place for Jose to come to us in July.History,Stadium, financial muscle, player attraction, fan base we simply beat Everton. It's just hard because we have to put up with the clown van gaal, the season will end and he will leave.Even nightmares end.[/QUOTE]

Mourinho in the summer is our last hope at this point. If we somehow end up fecking even that up, and have LvG or an unproven Giggs, then you may as well just stick a fork in us. We'd be completely done as a 'big' club at that point. Kaput.

I am waiting for our first signing of the summer to say he is joining The Biggest Club in the World and I will kick my TV in.

Yeah good shout with Real,I don't see Zizou lasting there too long.

What, five minutes after Perez hailed new boss Zizou with stuff like "Zidane, you are truly the god of football. I want to kiss your nose hairs" etc etc? Even for a club as unembarrassable as Real, sacking ZZ so quickly would be incredibly embarrassing.

Perez,is a snake and doesnt give a to$$.
If Zizou has a bad campaign Id be amazed if he survived.

Does no one think he could go to PSG? If Blanc say gets knocked out in the Champions League which is the cup they want, then surely Jose would be a good option?

I know they want the CL, but I think Jose likes a challenge and that league would bore him stupid. Far too easy.

Yeah your right on the league, anyone should walk that with the team/resources they have available, but hopefully he prefers the challenge! I know he stated he wants to stay in England, so if that is the case then we are the only option really.

They renewed Blanc's contract after Jose was sacked, which I don't think they would've done if they were looking at bringing Jose in. I agree though, that's a natural fit for both parties.

I can't quite rule-out Everton - there aren't many sides in the league potentially looking to change managers, and if we don't move for him then Everton would probably be the highest placed option available to him. Logically they'd need to increase their budget substantially to cope with Jose, but if his choices are limited in the Premier League then I wouldn't rule them out completely.

It would all depend on if we are going to make a change - and I can unbelievably believe we won't...

Didn't he manage them to a CL victory in 2000 or thereabouts ?

the year before he got fired I think. i also think he got them close every year. fired for winning the league! FFS it's RM at it's worst!
