I still can't believe we have hired Moyes and LVG over a manager who has won multiple elite level titles throoughout his career.

Has the success made us giddy, who thought this would be a good idea, I miss the hunger of old instead of this bloated dreamlike organisation we have become, get Jose in and lets get back to the top of the tree domestically and in pushing for top spot in Europe.

People calling for Biesla or Poch over Jose need their heads examined, wake up and realise we have to get the next appointment correct, not some fancy pancy flavour of the month who would crumble under the weight and increased pressure now the great man has gone.

If Mourinho is already done, then sack LVG now and give it to Joyce. At least let the stench at the club dissipate a little before the new guy comes in.

If anyone from our current set up deserved a go Joyce would be top of the list by a long way, work he's done for the U21s is brilliant.

I don't blame Jose for not wanting to come in until the summer. I wouldn't want to be tainted with this team and this season. Come in the summer, pre-season, bring in his own player, new season, fresh start.

Jose is fond of his statistics too... won't want a string of defeats to start off his managerial reign.

Appointing Mourinho is a good decision for one simple reason. He's already focused on the future job and have loads of time to prepare. LvG didn't had that comfort and was signed after World Cup with about a month to season opener. That was a big mistake as the club structure is simply too vast to grasp and probably that decision was already occupied with few misjudgements.

The moment he enters the office he should have already precised opinion on remaining players and potential new ones, after that he'll probably collect the additional reports after upcoming tournament and in 2nd half of August we should be ready to rock with Maureen not needing to make excuses about need of unending assessments under time pressure.

I hope he's as ruthless as he needs to be in the summer, I could understand him being unsure about losing the faith of the players after what happened at Chelsea but we're not in a position to compromise.

So if this is true then the likes of The Mirror will sweep their LVG staying / Giggs taking over / Jose worried stories under the carpet with no consequences.
Heck Ballague called this story bullcrap yet his De Gea story is treated as gospel.on here

Di Marzio is really hanging his reputation on this.

Repeated statements as fact that he's coming to United. If it doesn't happen noone will ever listen to him again.

Everton fans really believe he is a possible candidate on the Grand Old Team forum. Some saying 'Mourinho to Everton' stories have been embargoed by the media.

Don't know how much they really know though, as a few on there also seem to be saying that Everton are currently a better prospect for a top manager than we are.

There's more chance of Ronaldo to Tottenham. Nonsense story, Di Marzio has come out today and said he knows for certain that Mourinho will be at United next season. Ludicrous to think otherwise, let the Everton fans be deluded.

hearing from Everton fans that he could be going to them.

To be fair, many MUFC fans deluded themselves into believing Guardiola may be joining us, so it makes sense that Everton fans would do the same with Mourinho.
Fans like to clutch at straws and throw logic out of the window.

How do you? I'm not sure Ole's wife on FB is the most concrete source unless you've heard something else?

Just trust me on this. I leave the board if its false information. And I really dont want to leave. I have been on here for years. Its a little more than facebook information now tbf.

What is it then? Unless you know Jose, Woodward or Mendes then you don't really know for sure. Even if one of our players had said it, they are always wrong and I wouldn't be 100% confident.

Yeah, wasn't it Irwin who 100% said we were getting Ronaldo?

I wish the season was over, so we could be finished with this. Or that we announce it soon. I can say that you got a point, but the information is good. I would not trust our old media horny x-players either.

Are you in or in anyway associated with the club or in the media?

Are you going to reveal how you came upon the info if/when he does take over?

If those rumours of a Qatari buyout of Everton are true, then it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that Mourinho would go there with the promise of significant funds. Plus, winning the league/CL with Everton would cement his reputation as the greatest coach of all times.
