All the foreign media are pretty calm, assured and consistant with their Mourinho stories.
Meanwhile The Sun and Mirror go from United desperate for Jose to not being sure who we want. All within 24 hrs ffs.
Create a narrative. A fresh take to keep this going. Also this way if Jose is hired then the media werent wrong. They were reporting on a choice. They just choose Jose.
Its unbelievable these people have credibility on here.
this. the mirror and the sun are trash. (especially the latter)

Calciomercato went full muppet to predict Mourinho's United squad.

I think the only player I'd take there is Cavani (yes I rate him, although I'd have him along with Martial). Although haven't seen Biglia play. Rodriguez is good but for feck sake we have Shaw.

Won't bang sorry.

Will be tasty to see the signings Mourinho will bring though  Finally we have a manager who players will want to play for.

You don't rate James Rodriguez?

Every time I watch him play since WC, he's been dire. Probably just matter of luck that I see his bad days but I watch Madrid a decent number of times to just not be a fan of him. Just seems to float about for majority of the game. Apologies if he's actually 10000 times better than what I make out, I just really struggle to rate him. Game vs Roma was example.

This Simon Mullock has wrote 3 articles about Giggs taking over or having a guarantee to takeover.

If these leaks are true then poor LVG is getting fecked over by Woodward. So much for the trust & faith & great working relationship with the board etc etc.

Its only business. If you dont deliver over time, you will be in trouble. How you are as a person does not matter.

That is just downright bollocks. How you are as a person & leader does matter, irrespective of all the business talk.

Yes you are right, but you need to deliver in the end. The business end of things will matter. I am not saying that leadership skills and how you are as a person dont matter.

LvG has been in the game long enough to know what the situation is. He did manage Bayern and Barca.

Plus he was approached for his current job while Moyes was still our manager. He'd be stupid not to realise we'd likely treat him in the same way.

I may be a pessimist, but I firmly believe that the reason Van Gaal is still in a job is precisely this. They want Giggs, they think it's the United way and they know they'll need to grow a pair in order to appoint Mourinho, but they also know that appointing Giggs at this stage is going to look slightly mental, so they're holding out for as long as possible in the hopes that LVG can turn it around and they can get Giggs in later on.

The sheer thought of Giggs getting is scary.

You think we're delaying in sacking LvG, wait until it goes wrong under Giggs. There is no chance the board would ever sack him, no matter what.

The level of stupidity running through the club would have to be staggering for this to be true.

Giggs isn't being hired you worrying fairies. If the club had any intention of that, LVG would have been sacked long ago.

Fergie should have no major say in the choice of manager.

The guy wanted Sven or Martin O'Neil to replace him originally. Then got in the clown Moyes. He's not a very good judge of managers.

The Sun in actually not knowing that Charlton and Fergie have no voting rights at board level shocker.

If we do go for Mourinho, the football world will be looking at Manchester and the rivalry between us and also Guardiola and Mourinho. Mourinho will be painted as the villain and Pep the saint or in other words city will be the goodies and we will be the baddies.

Quite frankly, I couldn't give a shit at this stage. We need to be competitive.
