Bayer Leverkusen - Manchester United (Official Match thread)

from what the radio is saying it looks as if Diego Forlan and Ole are coming on -- Rudd off? (I hope not) with Butt (to protect him)???

And Phil Neville is playing out of his skin atm.

I know :D

And I'm Dutch and Ruud started scoring again. hhhhmmmm do I sound arrogant now?? ;)

Half time, Bayer Leverkusen 0 Man United 2 we are causing Bayer lots of problems with our fast counter attacking play, and Barthez is looking very awake with his quick throw outs(apart from one corner where he went flapping about in the box like he was trying to take off). Veron is passing the ball brilliantly. It's looking good. I am off to watch the 2nd half now. Come on United. Nicky Butt please be careful, it was a senseless challenge that brought the yellow.

sod it, we hammered dortmund 6-1 away in 1964 and beat em 4-0 at ot.

I figured that it would be bad luck to put them to win.

So if we lose points it was all in a good cause. :)

it could still happen.

S'ok, don't care as long as everyone does their pix unlike those poor dwarves. ;)

Bayer never lost to an English (or was it British) side at home tho, so there is a record to break ;)

Ruud's coming off..hamstring problem. O'Shea's also coming off..double vision.

I've still haven't seen a United game this season (only summaries). :( Here we have just the choice between Lens-Bayern or La Corona-Milan AC...

Me too, we have to survive this wave and keep the ball and get control back again.
