Barthez was so lucky to get away with that feck up coming for a corner - flapping about but not getting the ball, very dangerous situation.

Ruuds been outstanding, not just because of the goals but his general all round play has been great, i knew he'd start scoring again..coz's he's played very well in his las few matches...

Both goals were excellent... especially the first, veron made a great assist and RVN tucked it away with class. :D

Furthemore, we've looked very dangerous from counter attacks.. mainly coz Fabs distribution has been top notch..

Its a good job i dint post how I was feeling looking at the line up before kickoff.

But this system has really worked so far as we seem to be getting goal scoring chances on every break whilst soaking the bayer pocession and hitting em when we win it.

Good distribution play from Barthez so far! He is looking better did drop one ball though.
 
good to see my starting work has again been picked up by the boys in red. Last tiem I started a match thread we won also :D
 
this could be our first win on german soil ever ...

Just played back to back games of footy, and teh half time bath is running. I am knackard. Caught last 15 minutes in car on way back. The lads sound in good shape.

Waiting for replay of 1st goal. Nice work by Veron and decent finish by the sounds of it.

I won both mi games, so I'm on for a nice hatrick (like Ruud eh :D )

Right 10 minutes left to soak my aging legs :(

Ruud is alright, we need to get the others going as well :) for the future.. a little confidence boost wouldn't be bad.

I figured that it would be bad luck to put them to win.

So if we lose points it was all in a good cause. :)

4-5-1 works very well away from home... especially in Europe.

Took 30 mins to get into it I thought but thereafter we were very good - took the chances and looked threatening.
