He'll become a cult (that's cult, not a typo...) hero at Anfield, no doubt.
He's just made for the scouse, he has that strange of mix of 'victim complex' coupled with 'sense of entitlement' which is exactly the same as Liverpool FC as a club. They'll really love him there, which he clearly needs.
I think he'll settle down there - he's just become/about to a Dad I think? And that'll play a part I'm sure.
From a footballing point of view, he obviously doesn't offer the work-rate that Suarez gave, but then, that work-rate was anomalous for a flair player. Liverpool will need to adapt their game slightly, as will Balotelli, but I actually think it'll work out for them.
He's a handful, and what I imagine Rodgers will do is have him sit up quite high and just be a nuisance for defences who want to push out/play high and in doing so create much more room for Sturridge and Sterling to exploit.
I think as a front 3 Sterling, Balotelli and Sturridge will gel and form a good attacking unit.
Can I see them winning the league in the next 3 seasons? No. I think they'll now enter a phase where they'll finish in and out of the top 4 sporadically for a few years while going on a decent cup run or two each season - which is just about the level I can handle seeing them reach.
Suarez got too good for comfort if I'm honest (and I utterly loathe his behaviour - racism, dangerous needless challenges, feigning injury, biting etc) and I'm glad to see the back of him.
Balotelli I actually like as a character, he's a genuine odd-ball with a genuinely difficult background. I respect his stance on racism on the pitch, and I think he's a decent fella.
So yeah, I'm fine with him doing 'well' there, to a degree. As long they don't win the league, or take our top 4 place, I'm not bothered what Liverpool do to be honest.
