That's glowing praise right there.Regardless, he is a million times better than Lambert.

Wait, what? Cantona should though?
I'll take a kung-fu kick over a racist cannibal anyday, thank you very much!
Sturridge and Suarez had pops at each other on the pitch too and they were alright together.
It is an interesting purchase, 16m is not pennies for liverpool, though they have sold Suarez.
Balotelli is similar to Berba, without the class and touch, in as much as he will sulk, be lazy and be fairly non-existent until he has a moment of brilliance. Regardless, he is a million times better than Lambert.
I'm sure it's the same smile his ex-wife was all too familiar with, I wouldn't trust it.
Really ? Not so obviously devious but both are right up there !Souness and Keane shouldn't be compared to the other two.
You need to start this thread from the beginningIf some reports are to be believed, Rodgers did not want Balotelli.
I think that says more for Milan's financial position more than anything else. Young Berlusconi hasn't got the money to invest anymore.
The team wasn't built around him immediately. And Balotelli and Cantona aren't really similar.
Honestly I have no clue how Rodgers will set up but I'm eager to see how he will incorporate Balotelli into the team. I think like you said the side was built around cantona but it probably hinged on Fergies feelings having seen him for quite a while and judging the kind of character he was looking for. Ferguson was very good at that and I don't know if Rodgers is. That said I understand why folk are very wary of signing Balotelli but I like the lad in many ways and could see things working for him if all goes well.
Yeah that's it. It could be brilliant or an all round sh1t storm! It'll be fascinating and fun to watch to be honest.
I just find it bizarre. Rodgers has done a great job building a side that frankly, last year over achieved given the players he had. Suarez is a huge loss. Team spirit seems good, the players all seem to pulling for each other. Now they're chucking in a potential hand grenade with a player who has issues.
Whatever happens it'll be interesting but it could be a pivotal moment for Rodgers. Make if work he'll be a genius. If not and if all goes tits up his reputation will take a big hit.
What happens if he gets injured training for Liverpool there and he hasn't signed?
He's twice the player Lambert is anyway.
Good signing I think. He's barmy but for the price I think he's worth the risk. Plus he's a reasonably big name which does no harm.
Has he officially signed yet?
Do you have a link to a press conference or transcript? He has signed.
His interview is so blunt. Found it funny the way he described his shirt number.
Bah! You're right though Dwazza. Change it back.Balopool was better, also you spelled signs incorrectly.
Thread title changed. Signed.
5 red cards this season. Anyone fancy a stab at how many?
