If only he stopped fecking moping about the pitch when its not quite going right for him it would be half the battle.
TBF to him he still has that lingering virus.
The Sad thing about Berbatov is his attitude. I really don't care if he doesn't scores, but he throws fits when he doesn't get any service, or when he is fustrated. That effects other player in the team too.
We are talking about Berbatov right?
you can tell his confidence is gone, early season Berba seemed like a predator and now seems clueless around goal.
Poor game but got better as it progress and was alittle disappointed to see him come off although proven the correct choice.
You can't expect a striker to finish every chance he has. The fact that we have only 1 good chance until the 80 minute is just not good enough. Although it was a bad miss from him.
Yes, he also didn't have a pre-season 2 years ago and his price tag is still troubling him. He also isn't playing in his preferred position. Yawn.
When will we stop trying to defend the indefensible? He has been utter useless from game 1 up until today against Villa (apart from maybe 5 games) and shows no signs of improving his attitude, performance or effort level.
Like Ronaldo, Keane, Ruud, etc. would?
Yes he has an extraordinary ability but with no mental strength to back it up.
Agree. Same as with Hernandez today and same as the City match. We are not creating enough chances for him. What is he meant to do, score from his own crosses? He was quiet today but thats because for the first 80 minutes, he had no service.

Did you see that well worked freekick between Evra and Nani?
He should've been bursting a gut to get in the six yard box and would've scored yet he was loitering around unaware of what was going on. Sometimes you make your own chances.
This is the problem most people have with Berba.
But best in the world? fecking hell... That's a bit over the top for a player with no pace, who can't head a ball, who started to shine in his very late 20, with very little power....
He has the abilitiy to be a pretty good footballer and stiker, that's for sure, but if he can't get his head sorted out it's a bit frustrating.
How Berba and all the other forewards must miss Valencia.
But you can expect a striker to at least score once within 2 months.
We've done this a million times over now, he is what he is
On his day he can be brilliant. His day is frustratingly few and far between. When he's not performing well, call it style, call it his temperament, whatever... you don't see the desire or motivation to turn it around. No one is beyond busting a gut and putting a real shift in
The accepted wisdom is that he's a confidence player. If that's the case, how the hell do we explain what's happened since Liverpool? He's gradually got worse and worse
Very good point, I thought I was the only one who saw it with my biased Berba glasses. I need to watch it again to make sure if he could have made it.
Yes I stand by my comment.Technically I don't see what the best players in the world have over him, the main difference is mental and also without forgetting the physical importance (pace and agility). If only technique was to be taken into consideration, he's one of the best in the world. It's just sadly not enough.
Zidane didn't have particularly great physical attributes but mentally he was on another galaxy ( I hope you'll realize I didn't compare Berbatov to Zidane)
Pretty sure he could have gotten to it. Just didn't make the run.Evra was fecking livid with him. Evra certainly thought he would have made it.

How many assists did Valencia provide Berba?
Berba can't dribble like the best. Heading seen as a technical ability? Berba has great close control. His short passing is ok but his long passing, come on.
You just raising him up too much- hes a good player and his performances throughout his career testify to that.
Like Ronaldo, Keane, Ruud, etc. would?
Berba was by far not the worst player today. But why is there no thread on say "Bad Park is back"?
