Many had a very selective history of Berba at Tottenham and only remembering his best moments akin to judging a player on Youtube clips.

For Tottenham he scored 27 goals in 70 EPL appearances. For us he has scored 27 goals in 74 appearances.
He is pretty much the same player he was at Tottenham but too many on here have over rated him - hes a good a player - a good addition to the squad - its the fact we shelled £30m on him that also adds to the mix.
He scored 1 goal every 2.2 games for Tottenham, he has currently scored exactly 1 every 3 games for us. This is a near 30% reduction in goals scored per game. When you take into account the fact that Spurs were (and still are) a much poorer team than United the stats become far more apparent.
His assists are also of a similar % lower in a better team. Not to mention that his overall play is much worse, illustrated by how gutted Spurs fans were when he left vs how happy they are that they sold him at the right time.
Take a chill pill, it's only half time. You can have a proper rant after the game
It was bound to happen. It's a shame that even when he's having a bad day we can't expect him to perform some magic unless Nani who had a horrible match but did some great stuff towards the end
He was bad in the first half but at least he was trying to make things happen in the 2nd. I was disappointed he was taken off.
Does he? I didn't know that.TBF to him he still has that lingering virus.
TBF to him he still has that lingering virus.
I don't understand how a footballer as talented as he, can have no bottle what so ever. You see cocky bastard and you see lazy bastards but you rarely see players like Berbatov. For christs sake if you don't score its not the end of the world but if you mope and act like a twat every time you don't, you're going to go on these 10 game goaless streaks.
TBF to him he still has that lingering virus.
What has happened him? Since the Liverpool game he has disappeared he looked today like he didn't give a toss
I don't know whether it's just him, or it's our midfield. I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt though as our midfield creates next to nothing for our strikers without scholes, or if nani is having an off-day.
The biggest disappointment is that he has enough ability to be one of the best if not the best in the world.
It's not like we are dripping with options upfront right now tbf. So it's possible some players are playing while sick. After all Scholes did vs City. Because today in the first 70 minutes, apart from the players in our back 4 and Van De sar, the rest were true garbage. It's a possible explanation but if the virus was really affecting him would SAF have played him ? I know it's impossible for us to know
