I'm more confident he'll start against Arsenal than I am in seeing him featured tonight.
Lindelof played very well against PSG and Chelsea. I would like to see the partnership with Lindelof continue tonight. Maybe in the EPL games where we have lots of the ball and against opposition that have aerial threat, I wouldn't mind Ole pairing up Tuanzebe and Maguire in that situation. Maguire is too slow on the turn and moreover, that Azpilecueta grab could be a penalty in the CL games. That style of defending worries me a bit.I'd love to see him start alongside Maguire tonight and see what they are like as a partnership. He looked fantastic against PSG, perfectly at home against them.
Are people having another meltdown ?
Yeah, it’s a long season and I’m sure he’ll get plenty of game time. Honestly no need to rush him. Maybe we’ll see him against Arsenal.A bit hard done by not to start but I get it considering he's returning after a long injury.
He’ll get his games. But right now both Maguire and Lindelof play very well so it’s natural that a new kid needs to fight his way in.I hope Ole doesn't see him as a utility player, should get CB starts in the next two CL games.
Ole's very careful with him and perhaps rightly so, Leipzig were commiting foul after foul today.I hope Ole doesn't see him as a utility player, should get CB starts in the next two CL games.

He just need to stay off injuries and he'll get minutes for sure, especially when Bailly is out of equation.
I definitely think he'll get his games, I just hope he gets them at CB.
We'll want Wan-Bissaka at his best for the weekend because he'll be up against Aubameyang. Tuanzebe's played at RB plenty of times, coming on for the last 15 isn't going to do him any harm. There is not much point in playing him as a RB. At 3-0, he could easily replace Maguire to give him some rest. Bissaka might have needed that too, but in this case why Tuanzebe instead of an actual full back?
He played 10-15 minutes against Leipzig but that’s all. It’s strange on one hand, but at the same time Ole is probably searching for stability and then he plays then CB pair that he know work, plus they have been doing well. I’m pretty sure he’ll play CL on Wednesday. How has he not gotten a single appearance since the PSG match? Horrible team management.
I’m not expecting him to start every game, but he needs to be in and around the starting lineup.

I’m pretty sure Ole would have played McT and Fred also with Tuanzebe on the pitch. He actually did that against PSG.With Ole persisting with Lindelof and Maguire means that he has to sacrifice an attacking option since he has to play 2 of Mctominay, Fred and Matic. Neither Harry nor Victor are quick enough on the turn and we cannot play a high line with them unless there’s adequate cover. I know Axel’s had his first game after a long layoff but feck this was against Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria and he came up trumps against them. What does Ole do, benches him in the next 2 games for his “trusted” CB pairing. Lindelof played well against PSG but Maguire is the captain so he has to play - bet the likes of SAF, Wenger and even Klopp don’t share the same view that captain has to play all the time and for the full 90 minutes...
I think he provided defensive cover against PSG because 1) it was PSG and 2) Axel was playing his first game after a year and against PSG.I’m pretty sure Ole would have played McT and Fred also with Tuanzebe on the pitch. He actually did that against PSG.
It can be frustrating, but Ole needs to build stability at the back. Then he can’t really change CB every game. And he can’t really put all trust in building a CB pair where with a player who 1) nobody knows if he’ll stay fit and 2) who put in one good game . It was impressive, but it was only one game, and he hasn’t really shown much before. He has as example only started one PL game as CB.
With that in consideration, I think Ole will play him in cup matches until he has shown he can stay fit and rack up consecutive good performances.
Only conceeded 1 penalty since the PSG game. (3 games). How has he not gotten a single appearance since the PSG match? Horrible team management.

I doubt Ole would have changed the whole setup just because of Axel. Most likely he would have played the same players.I think he provided defensive cover against PSG because 1) it was PSG and 2) Axel was playing his first game after a year and against PSG.
His performance warranted a start against Chelsea and/Leipzig and he did not get it. Competition for places in a side means when you get your chance and perform well, the player who you replace has to wait their turn. With Ole this logic does not hold water.

That, along with the injuries, is my main worry about him. Especially with AWB on his outside who is absolutely terrible at winning anything in the air.Looked a nervous wreck. Stupid foul for his yellow card. Kept either losing headers or failing to make a decent contact.
I don’t think he was subbed because of the general poor performance because then at least 3-4 more players would’ve been subbed. It was because he struggled so with the aerials. But why didn’t he change position with Maguire? Is he limited to RCB?To me there was no leadership next to him, not his best performance but I am hoping he came off purely because he was on a yellow and not as a scapegoat for El Fridgeo.
