Murray is getting to the Djokovic level of consistency now, even though they are the same age it's just taken him a bit longer to reach the top level, been in each of the last 3 GS finals now, that is some record. In fact, his record since the AO of 2011 is absolutely stellar. Been in at least the SF of every single slam entered since 2011, bar the French 2012 where he reached the QF.
It's going to be some match, but in a way Murray has put another demon to rest in this tournament, he's beaten Federer on the biggest of stages. Another ghost is laid to rest and pressure is off in a way. He's achieved something great here already. He knows he can beat the very best over 5 sets, and even if he loses to Djokovic this time there will still be many more opportunities in the next few years to win more Slams.
Excited for Sunday!
