Oh - no, you can't change the player. AFAIK, once a bid is made in terms of player it is set in stone. Because otherwise you could bid 50m for Pires and I wouldn't want that so I would then go after another player. You might then change your player and then I would have gotten fecked as I would have been able to get pires for less. So no I don't think it should be allowed. That and it'd cause chaos.

For the 12h period, would appreciate if you could end it somewhere around midnight GMT, so that it does not end at off hours here.

No such thing as invalid bid unless you do not have enough money in the pot to go through with winning bids
In this case, the offending team pays a fine of 10m and the player goes to the 2nd highest bidder
No money to pay the fine? Sell a player and buy a cheaper one
This makes managers responsible for their budget and bids

I like this, but there needs to be a penalty. Sale would only give you back 70% of player value originally paid. @Annahnomoss

That is a great add-on. So it is impossible to win money back on picking up players then selling them later.

Agree.

What I propose is a cut off time, after which all managers can make 2 'final' bids (the Squeeky Bum Bids). At end of 2 bids (managers can choose to wave off too) the results are announced.

Rivaldo, Henry, Cavani, Rooney, Tevez, Mata, Oscar, Del Piero, Mendieta, Seedorf, Messi, Forlan etc etc are the wide options/"wingers" in other rounds.
