Athletics World Championship 2015

Finals yes, heats and semi earlier, heats at 13:30 CET (12:30 BST) and semi at 14:30 (13:30 BST). 200m Final at 14:55 CET, 4 x 100 at 14:50 (13:55 and 13:50).

Rudisha wins the gold, superbly controlled race. Kszczot who I thought would do well finishes second.

Edit: Rutherford wins the long jump.

Respect to Rutherford, never considered the best or most capable jumper, but has now won everything.

Does it when it counts!

What a great race that 400m was, Van Niekerk running the 6th fastest time ever. Hope he's ok.

Excellent results today, 400m Dan spoke, 3rd longest javelin throw ever as well.

Also, that was apparently fastest race Merritt ever had, and still only enough for silver. :)

I think Jonathan Edwards' triple jump world record is safe for now. I remember watching that back in '95.
