If we have that kind of money we'd be better off going all in for Vidal than wasting it on Falcao, who will only add to the imbalance in the side. Or we could just get a Schneiderlin or a McCarthy in, grab our CL place back and go in hard for Reus (sp) in the summer.
 
I hope Vidal is watching, Di Maria and now Falcao come join the party.

Anything is possible now. We've certainly made a statement with our recent transfers, I can see how some players would change their mind about wanting to play for us now. Playing with the likes of Mata, Di Maria and Falcao under Van Gaal must be tempting for anyone. Now watch us play utter garbage anyway.

Genuinely believe it's going to happen again now.

At some point today a bunch of journos are going to be saying "we're hearing of a huge bid from United for Vidal, Juve are thought to have accepted".
 
Everything is possible now, we don't seem to care about money, so just pay what they want.
A bid for Messi wouldn't shock me right now.

Manchester United to miss out on Arturo Vidal
It's not all good news for Manchester United - they look like they're going to miss out on Arturo Vidal. Can they bring in a defensive midfielder of similar calibre to Falcao?

Here's John Edwards with the latest:

'Manchester United look to have missed the boat for top midfield target Arturo Vidal, amid claims in Italy that they failed with a near- £30million bid for the Juventus powerhouse.

'Sources close to the Juventus board have told Sportsmail Online that the offer was made on Friday and that the answer from the Turin club effectively ended United's hopes of installing Vidal as the midfield general they so desperately need.

'Juve bosses informed United they had set an August 15 deadline for reaching any agreement over a deal for Vidal and that trying to negotiate so near the deadline would leave them insufficient time for recruiting an adequate replacement.

'It represents a massive blow for manager Louis Van Gaal, who wanted Vidal's energy and physical presence to revitalise a pedestrian-looking midfield.'

This gives me more hope. As if our last bid would have been made on a Friday 3 days before the window closes. And for £30m.
