How thick are the news outlets like Metro and Mail are for running stories based on it too, how embarrassing.

This is just a typical day for me right now!

Look at it this way woody; if you by Vidal, you can make money back through shampoo sponsorship, they could do with a boost in sales which are lagging

I don't know Italian but from translations and what people have been saying it said something along the lines of 'happy to be in Jakarta'.

From the start I've said this rumour was built up by twitter trolls and no credible juornos have reported anything. But I'm just being a Muppet and believing there is a small chance it will happen.

He posted that picture on twitter 17 hours before the Instagram one went up. Looks like it's a Juve fan who runs that IG page , uploaded the same picture from twitter with that caption. Vidal rarely posts in English on twitter or even on that supposed Instagram page, as i mentioned before it's odd that he would post Italian on twitter then English on Instagram, they usual post identical things on all formats.

Rio Ferdinand has 5.7m followers on twitter but only 477k on Instagram. Vidal has 1.5m on Twitter and this supposed Instagram account has 170k followers so I would say the ratio between the two is about right. I can't say wether the account is fake or not for sure but to dismiss it because of the number of followers it has is a bit thick too.

Mata, Fabregas, Rooney, RVP all have close to a million or more followers.

And if you read my posts i'm not just basing my conclusion the Vidal IG is fake on number of followers, there are also other reasons.

:lol: They are all worldwide superstars. Half of the people ******* over Vidal today probably didn't even know who he was before the World Cup.

And yes, you did state other factors, and I agree the fact that the photos are the same as on his twitter account, which is a valid reason why it could be fake. Anyway, move on. ;)

I think we will find out for sure in the near future if it's fake people will be digging!

But we just have to wait and see another 26 days to go!

Having had a quick look at Instagram, I'd tend to agree that isn't an official / personal account. All the photos he uploads to twitter are his own shitty efforts from his phone, but the instagram account is full of proper press shots of him playing in matches etc.

The best way to tell would be if he has ever linked to the instagram account from his Twitter account. If not, then we're probably still in with a chance :)

Yes this is the best way, but he's never mentioned IG on his twitter.
