There is clearly validty to this potential transfer. If Vidal was really committed to staying as Allegri alluded to, he'd pull a Fabregas and say directly "I'm staying at Juventus."
Could you eventually tell us what it is all about? Would be much appreciated...
That's the only real thing that's keeping this alive or "on", or whatever. The fact that he has avoided stating his intent to stay at Juve tells you that there is at least something in this.
Well, there's always a chance he will do it next week, or better still, even tomorrow so there is closure

He has only specifically been asked about Strootman, and he more or less said he wasn't in consideration at this point (not until he has recovered from injury)

How does that work exactly? Juve hold all the power, he has at least 3 years left on his deal. They can't strong arm Juve into a new deal if United aren't interested at all.

When I checked this thread over lunch it was as positive as it has ever been. Even the thread title was positive for the first time ever and everything! Now, a mere 6 hours later, it's a disaster.
I've skimmed back through the last 13 pages (yea that's right, 13 pages in 6 hours) and it seems the only thing that's changed is Allegri saying that Vidal is staying. Am I right in saying the Juventus manager saying he won't sell one of his best players is the only thing that caused you all to get all of your knickers in a twist? Because surely even the OFF crowd know that means feck all. There are countless examples of managers saying their player won't leave, for them to promptly leave.
Until Vidal comes out and says he's staying put then this is well and truly on. He isn't keeping quiet just so he can get an ego boost from watching the caf cream over him!
