Television Arrow | Ending on Season 8

Don’t really find Willa Holland that attractive. Just not for me, Emily Bett, New Canary, Nisa, Huntress then Laurel.
@Kostur sure I’ve told you before but don’t speak about my future wife like that again  Felicity is perfect.

Yay I get to keep wasting 45 mins of every Thursday on something I don't really enjoy but don't actually dislike either.

The last episode just highlights how underused Thea has been for a long time. Theyve really done a botch job on her character. A coma for most of this season. Her coming out of the Pit' and meant to have this blood lust, but ... kinda nothing.
Her killing Sarah Lance and being the daughter of Malcolm (who was the Ghul) and ... yeah.

Nyssa is always fun though. I would watch a show with Nyssa, Roy and Thea going around the world trying to destroy the Pits' though.
Shame she wont be saying 'husband' or 'sister wife' with such a straight face anymore.

Willa Holland wanted that though, she requested less time on the show and to eventually leave once her contract was up.

Which is fine. But the story telling could have still been better for her character. I get she had like 14 out of 23 eps contracted, but they could have had better arcs based on that.

Not sure what the feck they're doing with this show. Why the hell is everyone so mad at Oliver for? None of it makes much sense. I dont see how any decision Oliver has made benefits anyone or anything bar the City. Either that or I've spent my whole life convincing myself I'm somewhat intelligent.

I'm just 12 minutes in but before I forget and perhaps this episode turns more normal: this episode

Also the revolver with like 20 bullets in it  So, so, soooooooooooooo bad.

So I maybe crazy, but I actually enjoyed that last episode more than the few previous ones. Maybe because it was mostly Oliver based. Maybe because Adrian Chase was in it (and seeing him made me remember how much better he was / is compared to Diaz.

Hopefully next week is mostly Oliver again and we dont see much of the jobber team arrow version that split.

Best episode of the season. I've always liked the guy playing Diaz and watching a horrible bastard do horrible things is a nice change from the emotional blame game bollocks from the rest of the main cast.

Yea it was a good episode. Didnt like the Felcity/Curtis stuff. Still not sure why shes apologising for Rene being in the hospital. Hossman had it coming. He was told to step down, he was disarmed by Oliver, Oliver did everything he could before having to swing.

It was a good episode and one I think they needed before this week as it established Diaz a bit more.
Also Not Laurel is a fantastic villain imo. Well the actress suits villain more than hero. Maybe anti-hero?

A rare week where this show was better than the Iris show. Tbf, the standards have been slipping for a while so it was bound to happen. Diaz's backstory was well portrayed, gave his character some much needed purpose. Laurel looks hot with her new hair style:drool:

I haven’t really watched this since that recent break and have just been catching up now but damn has it been good.
The brothers in arms episode and Fundamentals were up there. The argument between Oliver and John man that was good and then Prometheus being the devil on his shoulder. Both excellent episodes.

To add to this just watched the episode Dragon. Jesus what a good ep. That might be the best out of the lot. Last two seasons they have nailed the villains. Diaz is proper threatening. Evil Loral is clearly going to skip back, something is going to happen to push her over the edge.

Anyone seen the trailer for next week? Why would they show that? Man keep it under wraps so it’s a big surprise in the episode.

The whole "you're not my Laurel" is fecking creepy to me :wenger: I mean wtf are the writers when they're dragging this nonsense story plot.
Clearly building up to the drunken Laurel and not her father love affair. Is it still incest if they are from another universe

I think it’s time to make it Official. Arrow is good again. Diaz is incredible, he might even be better than Prometheus.

Good episode even tho I still hope and pray for Williams death not even he could ruin it even tho he tried his best. Fingers crossed with Diaz’s threat at the end he follows through and rids us of William.

Another good episode. Shame they can't maintain this consistency throughout a whole season.

Yeah, I quite liked that episode. Human target is always fun. I liked him coming as Tommy (nice cameo but expected the fake arrow bit) but the judge twist at the end was pretty decent too. (didnt expect that)

I also like that Laurel tried to kill Diaz (and got him with the first hit) but Diaz was prepared for the second hit (and Laurel didnt try anything really stupid like a monologue, or tried to take him back to be put in prison or something). It was well done.

Guessing whole of Team Arrow will be back together now. Think the Civil war lasted way too long.

Apart from having about 3-4 clear-cut opportunities to simply kill Diaz, having not achieved that, this show isn't absurd at all. They're trying so hard to make Diaz a bad guy but in comparison with your Merlyns, Ra's and even Darhks, he's just fecking garbage and so is this show.

I think I'll pass after this shit season is over just like I did with Walking Shite.
