Felicity explained to her mother in the last episode that sometimes if people lie to you for greater good then its okay and sorta convinced her mother to not breakup with that police officer.
And then breaks up with Oliver for the same reason. This show
I swear in the same speech, she was having a go at Oliver for walking away from his son in a time of need, or needing those closest or something (my mind went away when she was whining) and then... she goes away in his time of need. Feck her. Shes been ruined ever since they put her with him. Her awkwardness around him was charming. They should have got together in the final season tbh (finally after years of will they wont they) and then gone with the whole by being with her hes putting her in danger.
What I hate is that if you forget about his supernatural powers, Darkh has shown hes a capable fighter hand to hand as well. Now all of a sudden, he cant even do that?
I kinda even get the need for a love interest for the superhero, but do they have to do every single cliche especially the keeping a secret route?
This is just an unusually violent soap.
Any super villain that seems to be wearing a girdle deserves to be beaten so easily.
He trained with the League of Assassins didn't he ? Maybe that explains why he suddenly turned into shit.

One of the worst eps ive seen. S4 is getting just as bad as s3. Its like they are running out of ideas, which is crazy since its based on comics. The first half of the season was promising, but again, its going the way of s3.

This show absolutely sucks now. I am only really watching now because I feel obliged to so that plodding through the 15 episodes before doesn't feel like a waste.

I'm so close to completely giving up on this. What a pointless episode and soap drama this has turned into. I should add also the most pointless flashbacks in the history of tv shows probably too. They're managing to make it worse by each episode basically.
It badly needs a new show runner because the direction of it is going nowhere, someone with fresh ideas because the current ones are clearly running out of ideas because they are all involved in either 2 or 3 of the other shows while this dies a slow death because of it.
I've given up on this show.
Crap, hope she fecks off once and for all (yea she won't) and we can finally move on with the proper show because this is utter shit.
What a rollercoaster for her character. From having one apperance that got extended because of her popularity to being both hilarious and important to the show. And now we all want her gone.
Its like the only plot of this season, is a game of guess who, whose tomb stone that was at the beginning of the season

The problem i have with the show is Arrow himself ,yes felicity is annoying but Stephen Amell is such a wooden actor. The expression on his face when felicity miraculously starts walking sums it up for me. There is also so much more out there since its launch and it now appears jaded.
This is a complete joke now. I used to love this show and now I don't even know why I watch it. What on earth did I just watch? I can't see the ratings going well for this - unless it's all female watchers. After watching Daredevil this is a huge load of crap - even compared to shows of its same scale, The Flash, AoS and Gotham. I'd even rank Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow over this.
Not surprised this wasnt bumped given the last few episode.
Last nights episode (or night before, whatevs) was much better mostly cos they used Curtis (in a way that Felicity used to be fun).
Also watched Damien Darkh makes me release the show really should have been about him vs Arrow this whole season (not just in and out, and such). Hes quite the suave charming villain.
The flashbacks are just boring, and I dont get how they make it boring given its about these mythical powers, but theyve somehow made them boring.

They really should scrap the flashbacks, I haven't a clue what's going on in them and don't see what they bring to the story
Sadly, I only really watch Arrow now for the Easter Eggs and so I'm up to date with everything for The Flash crossovers. Oh, and Felicity is smoking hot (but getting annoying now, like Laurell, or season 1 Iris).
Hoping the climax of the series will lift it again as Darkh is a decent big bad to be fair. I'm expecting it to be Quentin Lance in the grave as more points to him, but that could be a red herring and they kill Laurell instead (I'd miss Quentin more). Surely either of them is the most disposable character at the moment though, as they can both provide inside knowledge from the police (if Quentin is allowed back). Felicity's mum is maybe the next most likely, with Diggle still being an option too (though I've swayed away from that now).
The death should happen in the next two episodes, but I think they're on break next week again already which is so annoying.

If that is true (which judging by the things I have reading, it is), then that's ridiculous. Not a comic book reader, but the Black Canary and the Green Arrow should be destined for each other, as per the comic books. If they want to drag it out with Felicity, fine (which I hate and will eventually make me stop watching the show) - but to kill Laurel off completely pisses me off. I understand that many dislike her performances in season 1 and 2 - but in hindsight, she's nowhere as annoying as Felicity. I would rather that grave be for Oliver and they just stop the show now.
Agreed.... they tried to end the show with a cliffhanger... I did stop and wonder who was in the car... and once it was revealed I had the same feeling. At least they didn't drag this on a few episodes only for them to reveal it to be the person no one really cares about.
Also just saw this - it shows how poorly the show has treated The Black Canary - I'm not sure about the costs and such involved in such VFX - but it really makes Laurel seem a lot stronger and less of a joke: (Skip to 1:07)

TBH, that was a great scene in the last episode. And a pretty good explanation why she screams (they didnt really explain it before did they given her sister just used to drop a noise thingy that had the same effect). This is better and is an actual Cry (and more efficient).

Same here. Even without Felcity this episode was horrible. The writing was horrible - not sure why they had to show Diggles brother talking to Merlyn at the end of the last episode. The whole artifact thing made zero sense as to why they didn't just destroy it.
I read an article that <person who does> final words to Oliver would only be revealed in season 5. I don't even remember that person whispering final words to him - and I don't care at all.
I also read that the cemetery scene at the start of the season was filmed without having anyone in mind at the time - which is ridiculous. The whole mid season cliff hanger was stupid - as Felcity stayed alive, got paralyzed for good, but ended up walking a few episodes later. The flashback gimmick is completely stupid this season.
I hate to complain so much - but it's because I cared and liked this show so much in seasons 1-2.
