Arne Slot | Liverpool manager (Posture and/or Sack Watch)

He looks terrifying.

He looks like he'd eat underperforming players for dinner.

Wasting his time in football. Should be in some type of money extortion business.
He's actually an extremely nice dude. This picture is a much more realistic fit for his personaliy.

On Slot. Funny that England only now finds out he's actually a snide cnut, not some sort of happy camper.

So hard done to by VAR

Still got away with a blatant handball that was barely looked at.
VAR irrelevant for the first Everton goal, can't get involved, I said it would have been harsh to disallow the 2nd Everton goal, Konate has his hands in a natural running position and balls hits one from very close range, I know people here don't really think that's a pen but one of those to throw in for the banter, so no VAR issues as far as I'm concerned.

Exciting game overall, great atmosphere, fair result in my opinion, gutted to lose such a late goal but still fantastic position to be in, 7 points clear.

Reading the main United boards recently I’m surprised that Slot has received such a backlash. Far worse written by United fans lately. Far worse.
Not really the problem, isn't it? If we start comparing public statements to online forums, everyone could get away with everything.

Don't know why Liverpool managers like to talk about united after totally unrelated games... Probably just love the media attention.

We can say we suck. But we don't need to hear it from Slot. Plus it's the same old arrogance that VVD frequently displays. When a team doesn't play along with the style you'd like in order to easily open them up. You resort to. They can only beat us playing long balls etc. Plus our games gone. Why are we still living in your managers bald cranium rent free?

Up until last night I thought he seemed fairly decent, with little wind ups here and there but he completely lost his head last night along with his players. Went full embarassment mode.

Too early to tell, but the Dippers have a habit of falling apart from Feb-May. The reaction to this game would give me flashbacks if I were a Dipper. On the face of it a draw here (against a massive rival) to go 7 points clear with 14 to go - with the nearest team having no CF - should be cause for celebration. Not this kind of concern at two dropped points.

they’re lucky they’re miles ahead. like during covid.

Do you know what's going to be annoying? if he and that bald liverpool youtuber rubbing their foreheads against each other.

Who in their right mind would celebrate a point in the heat of the moment or right after the game when you just conceded a 90+8' equalizer?

If you mean when taking a step back and assessing the situation with a cool head, you're absolutely right though. A point at Goodison is pretty much par for the course the last few years, the way it happened sucks but we need to recollect ourselves, focus on the next game and simply beat Wolves at home on the weekend. Seven points clear while our nearest and potentially only challenger is dealing with an injury crisis up front, lots of positives and just need to get back to winning ways ourselves. Our next three games after Wolves are all difficult as well, so that's a must-win game for me.

The irony being they are long ball bums since Klopp showed up in 2015.

So just like nearly every manager, he's nice enough when things are going well, but a bit of a knob when they aren't, especially when he feels wronged. Least we can see that.

Would have been interesting to see how he'd cope in a close title run in, but don't think we'll get to that with Arsenal's depleted front line unfortunately.

The atmosphere was electric, the scenes of joyful Everton fans celebrating after the equalizer was smashed into the net were fantastic and exactly how Goodison Park should have staged its final Merseyside derby. Moyes had his team fighting throughout, great energy and determination to deny the dippers and take a share of the spoils, it was as an absolute minimum, the very least that Everton deserved. As for Arne Slot and his "captain" Virgil van Dijk, pathetic, petulant and borderline certifiable.

Lot of football still to be played but perhaps, just perhaps...the dippers are dipping.

The most sensible take on it so far, I didn't like to point out the obvious, this is every manager at some point. Curtis Jones was a knob to get involved, Slot should have waited till he cooled down and VVD shouldn't have made although an honest point, bit of a tacky comment regards Everton and cup final. But again, this is why we love football, it would be boring if there was never any drama like this. Great United teams of the past had a habit of losing the heads at times, same with Fergie, Jose, the Chelsea players, even Pep and Arteta, it happens all the time, nothing new here.

I will never understand why Liverpool fans go on Redcafe and expect sensible takes about Liverpool.

It's like asking me to do a fair and balanced analyses on Antony. Or the city of Amsterdam.

It's the banter, cafe definitely the best forum for that in my opinion, boring when it's just a one sided pile in

Of course, the caf is awesome, but trying to argue in favor of Liverpool seems moot.

Doesn't stop me from spreading the gospel of Arne. Even if admittedly, the more time passes the less I care about how he does

Don't you live in Den Haag? You're only partly invested in the 010 vs 020 rivalry then :p

I'll tell you what though, Red Cafe, to it's massive credit, is much more open to rival fans than any other rivals forums. Maybe that might annoy some Utd posters which i can get, but you do tend to get much more enganging conversations on here with rival fans than any other team forum ive seen.

I like to have a peak on other fan forums, Bluemoon, RAWK etc. There seems to a few rival fans on Bluemoon, and there used to be a few on RAWK, but don't know what's happened but not seen much posting on there from rival fans at all recently.

Just read that our assistant manager was also sent off yesterday so Johnny fecking Heitinga will lead the team vs Wolves

The City of The Hague dislikes Amsterdam a lot more than Rotterdam does. Logical effect of that tourist shithole being the capital while the government and the King are overhere.

ADO Den Haag has a very intense 1 sided rivalry with Ajax as well.

Oh fair enough, didn't know that. My knowledge of The Hague doesn't go beyond Goldband and ADO.
