I wouldn't like to go near Marcelo. Never rated him as much as others and I think that he is bad defensively.
Di Mario on the other side is great, I think that I would prefer only Reus and possibly Sanchez above him.

That is what I said about marcelo, defensive wise iffy at best. Either Sanchez or di Maria, I feel di Maria could be more available, and he seems like he is built for the premiership. He really could give us that acceleration and drive to stretch teams
You'd have to buy Robben if the price was reasonable, but that would be the crux.

I wonder how you'll be able to watch us considering that Young, Januzaj, Nani, Welbeck and Rooney dive as much as him. Anyway, when did he dived today? That one just outside the box on the first half? The other three cases weren't dives.
I counted at least three. He dived for the penalty. You can think it was a foul anyway, but you can't deny it was a dive.

I think he flopped as opposed to dived to get the pk, as soon as he felt Marquez's foot touch his he threw his hands in the air and flopped.
At the end of the day, the ref had to give it but Robben knew exactly what he was doing and conned him into it.

Will be awesome if we can get him. Can't see it happening though. Pep values him and wants him, Robben has no reason to leave a team which is at its peak and will again have a very good shot at winning CL. If Van Gaal can still convince him.....

We are talking the best of the best here. You can make the point that Arjen is a step ahead of Robin. That are such small margins which overall decide that.
I like to look at the trophies a player has won and how good he is in the great games.

Two totally different players. Robben is a world class winger RVP a world class forward. You can't compare the two and RVP can be unplayable when he's on top form too.

i've watched something like half of the world cup matches so far, and all 4 of the dutch games and got to say robben is probably the best player in the tournament. RVP was struggling today and robben step up to rescue his team.

Is he the best dribbler in football right now? When he get's the ball at this feet he always makes something happen. Messi used to have that impact until he lost his pace slightly, I don't feel he is quite as effective now when running.
Messi has completed more dribbles than him in this world cup. If Messi still played in the wings you would see him taking people on more often. There is less space in the middle, but that's where the goal is.
Hmm I suppose that depends what a "completed" dribble means, but I am certain Robben has been running at the defence way more, perhaps it's because they play with more space behind a defence.
Messi is of course up there, but I feel his dribbling has declined recently due to his pace not being once it was.
