Are Bruno and Rashford a problem?

I've seen us hold 5 and 7 with Bruno in the team, so maybe need to understand with have a lot of problems.

Kneejerk reactions as expected. Bruno wouldn't have solved anything if he played tonight.
My thoughts completely to be honest. I mean, yes, maybe we would have scored one or two, maybe he would have played 6 "key passes" but we lost because our defensive work was as shit as it gets. CBs and CMs. Bruno wouldn't have changed that, granted he wouldn't have increased todays woes but lets not act as if we haven't played badly with him in the team.

We conceded 7 while Bruno was on the field. If Bruno plays today, we concede 6 and score 2.

Don't expect to be promoted anytime soon. The resident scout was posting the same rubbish earlier.

Some on here make it a mission to misrepresent legitimate opinions they disagree with based on one-off games.

These posters are actually backing up the point that Bruno aint the problem man, because it doesn’t matter who is on that pitch at number 10, feck all is changing, no-one is that good.

Bruno is one problem, just not the only one.

Anyway, I might need go disable my internet connection for the next 3 GWs

No shit, that’s the whole fecking point you’ve completely missed man in thinking you made a smart point.

Prime fecking Messi couldn’t solve this shite.

This thread is about Rashford & Bruno being a problem and the reactions to the loss in which they didn't participate are completely kneejerk. As we've seen so many times this season and also in previous seasons, we've been as shit as today if not worse when we had both on the pitch.

We could've easily lost this one with a much worse scoreline with both Rashford & Bruno playing. Having 1000 more problems all over the pitch doesn't mean they're not a problem too. Especially Bruno. Going forward he shouldn't be a part of the team if we want to build a compact, tactically disciplined team but that's another debate.

No Rashford, no Bruno, no problem again today.

Auba and Lacazette turned out to be a problem for you. It didn't mean you were suddenly a better team if they were injured and Reiss Nelson and Nketiah were playing instead.

For me it's quite obvious that Bruno is much better and improved player in the last 1/3 of the season than he was for big part of the season before. Much better and more smart with the ball, doesn't give away stupid balls, and doesn't run for every ball pointlessly like he used to do. For me this recent Bruno is excellent play, contrary to the one I wasn't very pleased with. Not that we have improved as a team though, but then that's not down to him.

I bet his passing accuracy has largely improved lately, can anyone confirm this from some stats page?

Video floating around of Rashford confronting a fan as he’s warming up

That’s one way of putting it, sure. The other would be a United ”fan” giving their own player abuse and Rashford reacting like any of us would.

Not sure who says that and to whom. Anyway as I said I don’t know why anyone would go to a football match and say that to your own player.

I have no issue with fans voicing their opinions to players as long as it isn't below the belt line and also have no issue with players giving it back.

Non story and this sort of stuff happens all the time at football stadiums.

If you are enraged enough to give shit to a player, in person, who plays for the club you support then maybe its not for you.

Rashie showing that passion he's so well-known for displaying week in, week out in the PL.

We will never ever be good enough consistently with them. Bruno is a nightmare teammate to play with. Rashford needs to leave for his own good.

The coach is the problem. This has been obvious for a long time. Neither player is undroppable but neither player is the reason we are so consistently poor. If they were, the coach could just swap them out and problem solved. But whatever eleven he sticks out nearly always disappoints.

Fernandes sharing a thread title with rashford in this context is still one of the worst things to ever happen on Redcafe. It's like asking if bowel cancer and a headache are a problem where your health is concerned

We just never have a proper passing midfielder, it's like we are the only team to not actively look for the best we can get.

Yes both are problems, but of very different ilk. Rashford is finished, Fernandes just has an outsized role at Utd that he wouldn’t be given at any other top club - he’d be a bit part player for City at best.

We cannot compensate for him properly m
