Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Sounds like something I should be watching.

Its a bit like GoT in that the longer it goes on the less nudity you get. It's a really good show though and very different from the normal shit that gets suggested on here.

Can't go wrong with Pirates can you? Well unless Disney gets their hands on it I guess.

I'll go for Hannah New, everyones happy!
I'm not a fan of ironing boards.

you liked Spartacus so you'll like this. Albeit it tries to take itself more seriously than Spartacus and has a bigger budget. Sometimes that doesn't work but it definitely gets better as the show goes on.

Netflix's "Love" seems to be getting good reviews.

Oh for sure, Black Sails is a grower. Some of the characters in it are superb and you can't help but appreciate the amazing sets. So yeah, Black Sails, everything Pirates of the Caribbean should have been.

Oh but obviously its NSFSH (small humans i.e. kids. 18+ yo.)
Wings? They're only the band the Beatles could have been

Right, so Vinyl, The Night Manager and Love, early reviews please.

It definitely isn't. It becomes increasingly obvious that you're watching the same episode every week with only about 2-3 minutes of actual drama which is all related to a backstory. In saying that I'm only up to near the end of the first series now. The FBI boss' only role seems to be saying 'Do it' when one of his underlings suggests doing their job.
Think I am the only one on here that enjoys it , up to s03 ep9 and loving it.

Been watching a bit of Love recently and I'm not sure I'd recommend it. It's not bad but it's fairly run of the mill as far as Netflix originals go. Easy watching but quite bland. The role reversal is mildly interesting and the character development'd not bad but the setting and dialogue is very dull.

I still enjoy it, just think when binge watched Spader seems less impressive and the whole show has less appeal. That said I think where they're going with the other 'relationship' is really interesting.
I can see what you mean about Spader, but for me he is one of the best parts, agree about the other relationships, there will also be a 4th season, I hope they dont do it to death, think 4th maybe the last.

I enjoyed Vinyl's pilot episode. Nothing amazing but it seems promising and it's got a lot of talent behind it. It did remind me a bit of Mad Men with a fictional record company instead of the advertising firm and a lot of references to real artists during that era. Great soundtrack though you'd expect that.

Anyone watching 11.22.63 with James Franco based on the novel? Don't know what to think of it just yet.

Watched the first ep today. Those two sisters are
But if the rest of the show is like the first ep I think your review is a fair assessment. I'll probably carry on watching it though.

Been watching Bates motel lately, absolutely love it!
Reading the description, i wasn't sure if i should bother, since it's what's going on in Norman Bates' life before the legendary Psycho, and it's all happening in todays world.
The two main characters, play absolutely brilliant!
Unfortunately there are only two seasons on the Norwegian Netflix :(

Started watching The Americans aswell, looks very promising after 3 episodes.

Is the Magicians worth watching you guys? Getting mixed reviews.

Also @Tasberry, The Americans is pretty good.

It's not great, bit dull with annoying characters. Going with more adult - more realistic than Potter wibe. End of first episode got me excited for a bit, but nothing since was like that.

Saw the first episode, thought this could have potential. But then it just meanders through weird plot lines and you have to sit through some terrible acting. I've not gone beyond 3 episodes.

I'm planning on watching the latest episode tonight and if it doesen't improve I'll probably give up on it.

Ironically it lacks magic.

Both excellent shows!

Watched 2 episodes of Love and absolutely hated it. Yet another white geek author insertion wish fulfilment fantasy from the Judd Apatow stable of covertly conservative rom com stoner sludge.

It may have been mildly subversive in 2002, but now it's just by the numbers box ticking boredom.

Though tbf, at least this one isn't about how hard love is for geeky white men in LA and how much of a bitch his wife is, starting Paul Rudd. This ones about how hard love is for geeky white men in LA and how much of a bitch his kid is, starting Paul Rust...So, you know, progression.

Did Reckless get a second series?

Anyone been watching better call saul? worth it? I didn't enjoy the first season but at the time I don't think I was fully convinced during the first season of breaking bad. Also wanted to throw out a few recommendations not being mentioned a lot, Review, Nathan for you and Rick and Morty are the funniest shows around in my opinion alongside always sunny.

Netflix's "Love" seems to be getting good reviews.

It's alright, but both lead characters are such massive pricks, it's hard to get that invested in it.

I go back and forth from episode to episode over who the bigger asshole is, and maybe thats the point - that these assholes deserve each other (note: I don't think that's actually the point) - but even still, doesn't make it something you can fully appreciate.
