Evil Dead 2 is my favorite I think, it's the perfect balance between gore and humour.

Is it worth watching the first? Didn't feel like a marathon of Evil Deads and I've heard the second was just a remake of the first but with a bigger budget. I've seen Evil Dead 2013 which didn't have anywhere near the charm of Evil Dead 2.

Erm yeah I think Evil Dead 1 is worth a watch though watching it now after having seen the second one may be a bit weird, it's not as good and imo not as fun. So maybe skip it. Army of Darkness is fun though.
Stargate SG1 or Battlestar Galactica? Never watched either.
BSG every time for me. Could never get into SG1 due to its daftness and some pretty below average acting (although you could say the same of 99.9% of TV sci fi). I'd actually suggest Stargate Atlantis over SG1.
I'd pick SG1, if I had to choose. Season, season and a half were pretty cool from BSG thou, later...meh.
I'm also a fan of Stargate Universe, felt most sciencefictiony out of them all. I'd love third and beyond seasons....

Finished Sopranos. Somehow I like it better than The Wire. Well directed and a good ending. I'd rate Sopranos first and Wire a close second. Just my opinion though.

The best ongoing drama series is probably Fargo.
Seen the new sketch show w/Bob&David. Brilliantly absurd and similar to Mr. Show. It's a Netflix original so you'll find it there.

Just watched the first episodes of Ash vs Evil Dead. Hooked. Love it.
there are 2 seasons out but i dont know if they are doing the third.....
Wiki says it was cancelled, I enjoyed the first few episodes but stopped watching because something else I was watching at the time got cancelled and I was sick of watching shows that get cancelled too early and never have a proper ending to them.
I get the feeling Blindspot will be the TV version of Total Recall.

I should've watched Rectify first instead of Bloodline. There's a lot of bleed-over (pun intended).

It sounds interesting, although I'm a little surprised they've been brave enough to do it, some of the imagery I've seen in trailers etc looks nailed on to upset people, Statue of Liberty doing a Nazi salute for example.
Recently discovered this, and on season 3 now. Spader is incredible.
It's 'different' but all the more interesting for it. I liked it a lot!
