Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

People Just Do Nothing.
It was on BBC 3 and its a hilarious mocumentry. Its about a garage raver/mc and his DJ mate and about their lives on Korrupt FM. There's only 9 episodes, series 1 had 4 episodes and series 2 was 5. Not everybodies liking but I loved it as it pretty much mirrored my youth from 16-18, being garage djs getting stoned all the time.

I watched most of it the other day, it is really awful, had to turn it off it was that bad.

Narcos (Series) on Netflix, its about Pablo Escobar and the DEA trying to stop him.
I dont know, forced myself to watch the first episode of boardwalk empire, gave up after that, found it excessively boring, and thought story was crap

I did exactly the same. Tried finding a new series too watch for 3 days and couldn't decide on one so I just randomly picked one off Showbox. The 100. I'm about 5 episode's in and can't decide if I like it or not. It's cheesy as hell and the acting is poor but something makes me want to watch it.
Do it, it's not bad, it's not great, but there are definitely good points and there is:
It gets better, season 2 in particular.
I like the day idea of the show and having watched another 2 episode's tonight it is growing on me. Think I'll stick with it. Any news of a third season for it?
Yeah, season 3 is being made currently, release early next year I think.
Anyone watch Arrow? Watched the first two episodes and absolutely hated it in every way imaginable. Script. Acting. Tone. Just found it all over the place. But have just binge watched the first season of Flash and loved it. So theoretically I should like Arrow ... is it worth another shot (no pun intended)? Are they that different or was I just in a bad mood when I watched Arrow?
Bates Motel is good. Not as good as Narcos, which I watched before. But better than Supernatural, 8 seasons of which I watched, back to back, before that.
There was a Gotham Vs Arrow debate a while back and I was amazed that many people thought Arrow was better. I thought Gotham was good, much better than Arrow.
I didn't hate Arrow but I didn't rate it particularly. Watched all of series 1 but haven't been back for more, won't bother until I'm desperate. If you hated it, I don't imagine it'll grow on you. There are no surprises or hidden layers, what you see is what you get.

Scream Queens 3/10 (funnier, scarier, and just easily plain better stuff was made some 20 years ago)

Nice start of fall season. Good news is that at least two of those are destined to be canceled - SQ and MR, both FOX, had dismal ratings for the pilots, absolute flops.
Of course, all of those recommended to our Manchester City friends.

I need another show like The Wire, anything else just doesn't do it for me. Seriously, before The Wire I tended to enjoy most shows for what they were but after The Wire I just lost that ability because the drop in quality from The Wire to pretty much everything bar a few shows is way too big for me. I enjoyed Mad Men, quality show for me, but others I disliked like House of Cards, Sons of Anarchy, I didn't even like Breaking Bad as much as I hoped. The Wire will always be GOAT for me.
Maybe I'll have to try out The Sopranos.

Yes, watched the first few episodes. Generally liked it, but I find the voice-over to be incredibly annoying. But I'll watch the remaining episodes this week!
Good shout for Sopranos. The other one I would recommend if you haven't seen it is Deadwood.

started watching X Files from the beginning.
The pilot is quite good, and the rest of the first season is good fun. 3 episodes left to finish it... i like it. Perfect to watch al night before falling asleep.

I just recently started watching Friday night lights. I thought it was going to be shit, but I'm actually really enjoying it.
Started it a week ago. Watched the first episode and a half in about 4 sittings. Haven't been back in a few days.
Meh.
Narcos was good. Getting hard to keep up with all these Netflix series.
Is Fear The Walking Dead worth watching before TWD starts? Does it begin as prequel to TWD?
I'm doing exactly the same, usually watch an episode or two in bed each night, just started season 4.
Just watched The Player pilot episode,not that bad i guess.
Started re-watching them all last year, lost track a bit because of all the other shows, but will soon get back to it. So so good, the chemistry between Scully and Mulder is excellent.
Great show, season 2 is a bit bollocks but overall very good.

Friday Night Lights is a confusing show. The OTT teen drama, a sport I'm not all that into, and it seems to be championed by god-botherers for the significant fixation on faith and religion; all reasons for me to not give it the time of day.

Just a little surprised you didn't enjoy any of those shows you mentioned. The Wire is not in my personal top 20 of greatest tv shows ever. Not saying its bad at all. Im also surprised you've never watched the Sopranos. Have you seen Dexter, Boardwalk Empire and Six Feet Under? Better still, Oz?
