Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Not sure if its been mentioned before, but i suggest game of thrones. You might of heard of it.

Im on episode 5 of season 1  got a while to go. The amount of sex and boobs in it is quite laughable.

Anyone seen Peaky Blinders? I've just been told by a friend that it's one of the best series he's ever seen and he sits at home all day watching TV and films, the lazy bum.

Aye it's good. Annoying accents aside it's decent enough. Good cinematography.

So. Broad City. Watched it on the recommendation of this thread. I think I like it. It's really quirky. I suspect you need to be high to get a lot of the humour though. Is it an acquired taste? Or do I need to skin up before I next watch an episode?

I really didn't 'get it' at all.

I thought I'd give Rome a shot but I'm not feeling it. Maybe my expectations are all skewiff due stuff like GoT, but I thought it was a bit naff and poorly produced. Should I persevere with it?

I watch it on Netflix. Its been months since I started it and im not done with the first season. Its a poor, poor man's Boardwalk Empire. A filler show you watch in between seasons of superior shows

Rome is a boring ass show. Someone on here thinks its the best thing ever though.

I love it. It's hilarious and is excellent dry or high.

Only a few eps per season right. Worth giving it a go I reckon.

Never touched drugs and I like it. Then again, I like most shows that you supposedly need to be high to watch.

Check out Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt if you haven't yet. It's a Tina Fey show. Basically about female Kenneth (from 30 Rock) in New York. It's on Netflix.

Anyone who gives 5 stars to The Walkind Dead (unless it is 5/1000) should be ignored ;)

Seriously? You either havent watched it, or have watched a single episode and went 'aaaaah fek it'

It was the number 1 show in the world for two years running, what you on about mate.

I highly recommend you watch specifically season 1 and 2, they are proper off the hook. The decisions that have to be made by the group throughout the show are what put things into perspective for me and make things extremely interesting.

I've watched it until the middle of season 4. The pilot was brilliant, as it was the first season. The second season was decent too. The third one started bad and became awful, while the fourth one started awful and somehow managed to became even worse.

No, GoT has always been more popular.

The Walking Dead is around 80% shit, 10% Rick looking sidewards at something, and 10% fun when they actually do kill zombies and people. It's the most overrated show ever.

The second season is way worse than the third. They're on a farm for almost the entire fecking thing. At least being in a prison for the entire fecking thing is slightly less shit.

The first season of Rome is one of the best seasons of TV ever.

I actually just watched the first episode last night, thought it was pretty good. We'll see about the "poor man's Boardwalk Empire" thing, because again, I thought that was highly overrated. Good, but not as good as it could've been.

It had some very touching moments though. Like when Rick

has to kill that little kid for whom they were looking for an entire season.

Also, the ending was quite good and dramatic.

The third season was quite shit IMO and the governer might be just the worst antagonist ever. I was still resisting watching thatshit, but then he had to came back.

Seriously, TWD' writing makes Dexter writing (seasons 5-8) look a masterpiece. No idea why this show is so popular.

I literally can't remember a single touching moment in TWD, mainly because almost all of the characters are so shit that I'm usually happy when they get killed off.

To be fair Walking Dead is way past it's best now. They should make the next season the final one, although with it being so huge they will drag it out until the end of time it looks like.

I think it's at least as good. Characters aren't as developed and the acting isn't as good but the amount of episodes per season makes it far less filler and more constant tension and action.

The Red Road
Red Road is a hard-hitting drama that revolves around a sheriff struggling to keep his family together while simultaneously policing two clashing communities: the small town where he grew up and the neighboring Ramapo Mountains, home of the Ramapo Mountain Indians. After a terrible tragedy and coverup occurs involving the sheriff's wife, an unholy alliance is forged between the sheriff and a dangerous member of the tribe that will come back to haunt all involved.

 , I am pretty lucky really , get my laptop on all day and so long has I do the job needed they dont mind, not many can say they get paid for watching TV all day :D
Hey colleague! I can only do that during my night and weekend shifts though. Shame.

I finished season one in the hope it would get better but I didn't really like it. One of the most overrated shows around imo.

Season 4 was rubbish, felt like nothing was happening.

I felt like i was watching a reality show.

Zombie Kardashians

Walking dead is full of annoying, pointless and shit characters. That might not have been as big an issue of the plot made sense which it didn't. First season was decent enough on the whole but the 2nd one was a pisstake. Horrible in every single way imaginable. Tried to watch the 3rd season but gave up about half way.
