Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Sounds like the premise of the movie 'Vantage Point'.

Haven't seen that but not surprised it's been done before. Such an obvious idea.

What's clever about this show is that what happens is literally different. Not just some people seeing the same events from two different angles. It's being told during flashback, while the main characters are interviewed (a lot like True Detective, come to think of it) but there are loads of details that are completely different. Like in one version, the guy offers the girl a cigarette, in his version, it's her that offers him one. So many minor tweaks and the fun is spotting them all and trying to work out which discrepancy will and won't be significant. I've only seen one episode, so it could go to shite completely, but so far so good.

Just signed up for Netflix, yeah, I know, way behind! Is there anything on it that is must watch?
Depends what you're into but from a drama point of view Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Sons of Anarchy, Orange is the New Black are pretty absorbing shows. Things like Dexter, The Shield, Suits and Homeland are on it too but haven't got around to watching it. Comedy wise its got Always Sunny in Philidelphia and Arrested Development.

Outside of that you'll pick up some good documentaries and films.

Its like Vantage Point in that the scenes are replayed but as Pogue said, the 2 versions differ, even on seemingly trivial things. With Vantage Point, each version moved the story along, in this you probably end up less sure of what happened but as episodes progres you can piece together whose version of a specific event was more accurate.

Certainly sounds interesting.

Seen BB and SoA, just started Daredevil due to the hype, was alright, the guy from The Mighty Ducks however is not a good actor and is really annoying.

Luther
Breaking Bad
Daredevil
Orphan Black

Comedy:
Parks & Recreation
Brooklyn Nine Nine
Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Gavin & Stacey

That's the stuff I've enjoyed the most so far.
I found Orange is the New Black terrible. Homeland, Whitechapel and Marco Polo were OK without being great.

Will probably try Sons of Anarchy next. I've heard it's great.

Anyone watching "The Affair"? (featuring 'yer man from The Wire')

One episode in and it's got me hooked. Tells the same series of events from different perspectives, which all perceive what happened slightly differently. Clever and interesting premise but I'm sure I've seen it used somewhere before?
Good cop show called Boomtown did that concept really well. Or, at least, I remember it being really good at the time. CSI was also regularly watched in our house in those days...

I watched bits and pieces of Arrested Development years ago. Thought it was funny but never got too into it.
Haven't seen Archer at all. Is it good?
Both shows are exceptionally funny for me. Arrested Development can't really be watched in bits and pieces, it focuses on continuity, character development and running jokes, so it's a must watch in the right order.

Archer is an animated comedy show, a sort of parody of James Bond. Huge amounts of laughs to be had there too.

Sold. I'll add them both to the list!

That trailer packs in an amazing amount of cliches in a very short space of time, including the immortal line "you break the rules, disobey orders". Maverick cop movie-making 101.
The opening 20 minutes continues the trend; but it seems well put together so far and I quite like a trashy cop show every now and again, plus Marlo and Daniels are in it.

I wanted to like Bosch but it just didn't grab my attention after the first couple of episodes. Not bad, nothing special.

Just started watching Transparent, comedy/drama set in LA, really liking it so far.

Started this after seeing your post.. Really good actually. Always love shows (or games) with that type of renaissance setting.

Same here. Its my sort of thing. You might also be interested in these (assuming you haven't checked any of them out)

Black-ish is pretty good. Lots of funny moments.

Rainbow, my sweet, I don't want to harsh your vibe, but you might find that your choice leads to an unexpected result.

Is Fresh Off the Boat any good?

Looking for a new scifi series to watch, any suggestions? I've already seen all of the popular/better known stuff so more interested in any that may have slipped under the radar.
