Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

Just finished watching Killing Eve. Decent enough show, nothing ground breaking or super complex, even seems a little convenient at times, but the main characters carry the show well. Jodie Comer especially.

Is the one guy the lawyer as he really annoyed me every time he appeared .

As you say it's really hard to take sides . One side came off as more than a lil racist atc times but then there were a lot of instances where you felt they had every right to be angry about what was happening them
Nah it was that old guy with moustache. He seemed to have evil inside him

It’s only on Epix, correct? I watched the first episode on Epix, then I had to enter through a cable provider, something I hadn’t had in years.

I'm in Australia where it is on SBS On Demand I think. Most people probably download it though. Not that I would because that would be bad

It was fun. Not sure about the end.

Finished season two of The Handmaid's Tale last night, incredible television. Better than the first season was, too, not remotely as slow.

Yeah, decent fun is probably the best way to describe it.

Probably planning for another season based on how it ended.
Already confirmed for season 2
Its based on a series of books called Villanelle by Luke Jennings. I have no idea how closely the show follows the novel but I expect as season or two more.

Just finished watching The Bridge. Loved it. I'm normally not really a fan of shows in a language I don't understand, but once I get used to it, it didn't really bother me.

Oh, Cheers. Guess it'll run a while then and I get to see more of Jodie Comer.

At the moment I'm having trouble sleeping and British panel/game shows have been very useful.

Shows like

Would I Lie to You?
Taskmaster
8 Out of 10 Cats
8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown

Also, I think I've already mentioned the gentle sitcom Detectorists in this thread. It's wonderful.

Has anyone watched Vikings? I've been asked to watch it by a friend and have no idea what it's about.

Been watching The league of Gentlemen for the 100th time, its so bloody good, never gets old and Green Wing is just crackers

Just started watching Dark, how did I miss this show? It's utter quality. Think I prefer it to Stranger Things so far (just finished episode 3).

haha you lucky guy:) i enjoyed it to no end myself ! the music is utterly brilliant and so are the dark woods.. i had some moments of realization during the season and they totally blew my mind !!

Yah, I just finished episode 6 last night. I'm taking my time with it and loving it so much.

Amazing show.

The Blacklist season 5 is excellent, some of the best.
James Spader is perfect fr the role.

OMG what an ending, was not expecting that. BOMBSHELL !!!!! Season 6 is going to be something else.

Stopped watching it a year ago but always loved James Spader's character.

Try 'Colony' a good sci-fi show, not a pretentious suckfest like Westworld.

If you hate Westworld don't bother with Colony. But then again if you like the Walking dead and wooden acting then Colony might be right up your alley

Just watched the first episode of Happy Valley and it was great! I immediately googled "Happy Valley Fargo" and was happy to see lots of people saying it's like a British Fargo. I've only seen the one episode but got a good feeling about this one, anyone else got a no spoiler opinion on it?

it's better than Fargo imo. Not sure I see too many similarities beyond them both being set in remote (is that the right word for Halifax?) areas. Fargo is far more of a dark comedy than Happy Valley and the characters tend to be intentionally over the top whereas Happy Valley seems a very accurate representation of the area.

Superb show, though. Along with Line of Duty it's the best British drama in many a year.
