Television Anyone recommend me any TV Shows?

I watched all of 'The End Of The F***ing World' on All4 earlier today, about two young social outcasts who run away together and get involved in things like murder and robbing a petrol station as well as others.
Only on for 20 minutes each episode but thought they were just long enough.

Anyone else seen Nirvanna The Band The Show?

It's a show on Viceland by Matt Johnson (The Dirties, Project Avalanche) - following a band trying to 'make it' in Toronto - a bit like Flight of the Concords in that sense - but it's done in a bit of a Borat style, where you're not sure what's scripted and what's not, which members of the public are in on it and which aren't.

Would like to thank @SwansonsTache for constantly rabbiting on about The Exorcist in this thread. I've finally found the time to watch it and have just started season 2. Fecking absolutely brilliant show, loving every second of it.

It is absolute quality, the first season was nearly perfect IMO.

Enjoying the second season also so far, even though I feel it lacks the emotional connection you got to the Rance family in the first season. The horror is stronger this season though.

Due to his love of steak, I generally feel I can trust the guy, so I've caved in and downloaded it. I just finished Mindhunter so this can take over, probably.

Started Toast of London on Netflix. Love it.

I could watch Matt Berry in anything, guy is brilliant.
Thanks, was very good.

"Hello Steven, this is Clem Fandango. Can you hear me?"

I'm almost up to date on season 2 now and it's still of a very high quality. Loving it. One of the characters looks exactly like my little cousin though so it's kinda spinning me out.
Will I like Stranger Things even if I don't very much care for the types of 80's movies it pays homage to?
If it were anybody else asking this question I'd say yes, as I started watching with a similar feeling. You're a difficult man to cater for though :D. They've got a strong cast of kids, which is a bit of a rarity I think.

I even order them "bleu" in your weird language, so I am definitely one to trust.

You'll love it though, best horror series ever made, and IMO season 1 is right up there with any stuff made.

Has anyone watched The Sinner yet? I read somewhere that it's quite a shocker. Got my hands on 3 episodes and will kick off tonight.

The Exorcist - man...they have taken off into full blown scary horror.

I have zero interest in the 80s sort of movies and I still love this show.

.

Just watched the first episode.

No idea what is going on yet though.

Yeah I'll second that on The Sinner - it's really, really good.

Brilliantly paced, unpredictable and Biel is superb in it. Might be my favourite new show I've watched this year.

The Sinner is great. Three episodes in and it's a proper fecked up "what the hell is going on" show. Biel is brilliant in it.

Another upvote for The Sinner here. Laid out its framework very well, and nothing felt redundant or red-herringy by the end*. The inciting incident in the first ep was uncomfortably visceral too.

Well, maybe Bill Pullman getting buggered by a big lass... Sure, it showcased the contrast between his submissive personal and controlling professional lives, but no one wants to see Bill Pullman buggered by a big lass. At least not haggered man-boobed 2017 Bill Pullman anyway. ‘96 Bill Pullman, maybe.

Watched Stranger Things 2 over the weekend.
Best not to dig too deep and just let it play out.

What's the deal with setting this in the 80s? They could've set it in the present day and it wouldn't change anything.

Eh? It would change everything. Nostalgia is what the show is about, it wouldn't be the same with a bunch of present day twats with their smartphones.
