He's not played don't forget since the 14th August, so only going to get fitter.

Took his goal very well and made it look easy but it shows what having a left footer can do, in terms of balance/making it seem a simple finish... Elanga or Sancho playing there and they would have had to let it run across their body to hit it with their right foot - would have narrowed the angle and made it a harder finish.

Seems like another player who has a good attitude about him as well. Got a bit of fight in his belly; a little shithousery

Apparently, he did a Forrest Gump and kept on running.... didn't bother to change when he went for dinner with his mates:

Love that, you can tell he is absolutely buzzing to play for United. Seems like a genuine fan which is great to see. The passion he celebrated with is up there with my favourites ever.

Funny how the same people that calling Casemiro "finished" after 45 minutes in the United shirt felt in love with Antony that had poor game today. Don't get me wrong, i'm "in love" with both of them - it's just weird how some people value the guy that puts the ball in the net so much more then 10 that made the goal possible.
Who called Casemiro finished, or anything remotely close to that? Where on earth did you get that from?

Genuine question as just about every comment I've read in regards to Casemiro on here is positive.

I've seen the poster you're referring to!

To be fair, that poster is hardly representative of the Caf, and is rightly getting a pasting for that horror show of a post

In his career, he has thus far had 2 red (both after two yellow cards), so yeah, probably at some point. It's unlikely it will be loads, though...
He should have had more. I dont know how, but he got away with some very obvious red cards by kicking/hitting/trying to headbutt other players somehow. That is definitely a risk (but it could easily be that he matured a bit since then)

by the age of 24 I really do think he will be world class. 2 years at the top top flight.

He had the arrogance, ability, confidence. Markings of a top player, average players miss a chance and are scared to try again. I think he will be a robben that will rocket shots cutting in and be a nightmare to play against.

Great core of players now. Very very excited to see Antonys development. Worth every penny.
What attributes do you feel he possesses to separate himself from other good wingers and make that leap?
World Class is a pretty elite group

So pleased he got off the mark. He looked a bit nervous at first, but that finish was cold.

The fecker has been posting on social media non stop. Bless him.

Still can’t figure out why he dived left
Antony was only going one way.

It is rare to see flair attacking players being so intense in defensive works

That is the reason Ten Hag chased after him

Really loved the aggression he brought to the role. When compared to Rashford or even Sancho it's a totally different level and what we need.

Actually all of ETHs signing have brought that extra bit of bite we've been missing, even Eriksen gets stuck in quite a bit.

He will be annoying person to play against..
Will dive as soon as he feels something, will roll around.. Do silly stepovers.. Rile the opposition fans.. Get kicked..

Defensively he looks like he will try to compete for every throw in.. Every kick.. Every tackle..
And on top of that produce a sublime skill..

Him and Richarlison in one team would have been fun

So apparently he made more ball recoveries than any other United non-defender. In just under an hour on the pitch.

God I love it when flair players also like to win the ball back…

Refreshing to see if true, Ten Hag will highlight this to his attacking players to set a precedent
