What's with the title? Does someone know something?
Supposedly:
Sorry for the delay. I've heard it from Uber that it's on. Griezmann will be doing his celebration in our summer advert.

No, that would be silly. My sources are legit mate.

100% hit rate on transfers
I don't go anywhere else for my transfer news

I remember asking him about Bale in the Moyes era and he told me it was nonsense, he had heard from a good source the lad had just bought a new house there or something

I was almost in tears as he would have been amazing for us, didn't want to believe him but turned out to be right

He knew about Pogba well before the journos, even knew the exact day he was going to sign

Feck it.

De Gea
Valencia Jones Rojo Shaw
Pogba Herrera Griezman
Mhkitaryan Zlatan Martial
Just out score the opposition.

We have RoJones and Dave, we'll be fine on defense

De Gea
Valencia Jones Rojo
Pogba Herrera Mata
Griezman
Mhkitaryan Zlatan Martial

-----De Gea
---Valencia--Bailly---Rojo---Shaw
-----Pogba Bakayoko
Mkhitaryan--Griezmann--Martial
------Ibrahimović

Add Herrera for one of the attackers (depending on their form) for the tougher games, in the same way we managed with Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo.

Change the formation every few games. Smart.

It's not that bizarre to have a formation for easier games where you know you'll have possession and the other team will sit and one for tougher games where you might worry about outplaying a press, defending well or just not going full steam at a team that can pick you off effectively on the counter.

We already do it in the cups sort of, and you saw against Liverpool it's just about flipping the midfield triangle with a 10 replacing a DM. After that it's subtle changes apart from Pogba and Herrera coming inside and deeper.

That midfield 2 would not only waste Pogba but it would get run through, there's no discipline in it and no one to control the tempo of the game. Pogba in a 2 is pretty much a waste of him but if Jose does it he'll need a proper disciplined DM like a Matic, Fernandinho, Casemiro, Gustavo etc.....someone that will simply sit and be a safety net, it would be preferable if we could get one who was a good passer as well, but at the very least they have to have the discipline to hold their position and let Pogba have a bit of freedom, Bakayoko loves charging around too much, it would create the same shitty dynamic he has with Matuidi for France where Pogba is forced to play as the #6.

Most likely BS but its doing the rounds again that Diego Costa is wanting to go back to A.Madrid in the summer which will open up a move for us to to get Griezmann

That'd be pretty good if true, we get a world class player and Chelsea lose one of their most influential players.

I am hoping Sanchez goes there instead. Not fussed about Costa next season, he won't be there anyway.

I think the Griezmann deal is clear as anything, unless he gets a bad injury it'll happen.

This one feels alot like the Pogba deal or even the Herrera deal, was known months in advance and will rumble on with "others coming in" but ultimately he will end up here, nice to have some direction in transfers.

Hoping we add a WC holding mid player (if one exists) an exciting prospect RW and a commanding CB either with high potential or a leader. Also if theres any WC RB and LB hanging around that would be nice.

If Griezmann is signed it'll almost certainly see us move into a 4-2-3-1 system. I'm all for it and love the idea of Martial-Griezmann-Miki with Ibra/Rashford ahead. With him in the side our chance conversion should go from being one of the worst in the league to among the best, his finishing is his best asset in my opinion.

I really want to believe @Remix regarding the Uber link...am I being trolled?

People ask about where he'd play, and I see the point. Fitting him in might not be so easy, but he's an upgrade on everyone we have up front (barring Zlatan who's not getting any younger), so realistically, it's more a case of where everyone else fits n.

Yes.

When have you heard of a massive transfer like this being agreed months in advance, to the point where they've agreed to do an advert for a sponsor?

If it has been agreed then it will go through as soon as the season finishes. It won't, I guarantee it.

It is not too dissimilar to when a poster on here mentioned Jose Mourinho's / Pogba's arrival at United based on an advertising campaign one of them was involved in. This was months before it actually went through.

Forgot the name of the poster now, but obviously it turned out to be true.

In general though, I do agree that it seems unlikely.

That would piss me off if I was Paul Pogba. It's Martial's place that is unsafe and we will maintain the 4-3-3

I've wanted this to happen since 2013. Very exciting times if true. Make it happen Mou!

Do you think it'll happen? :D

yeah it's the best system to accomodate our attackers, but we also need better CDM as Carrick replacement and to accompany Pogba. I'm not convinced with Herrera to fill that role, of course if he manages to play as CDM properly, it's really great.

Agreed, if we move to 4-2-3-1 we might as well have not bought Pogba, we could have bought any solid CM to just sit in the 2 man pivot.

I say move Mikhi on the right of the midfield three and play Griezmann on the wing. That's what I would've done on FIFA, anyway.

----Mikhi-----Herrera-----Pogba---
Griezmann------Ibra --------Martial

That's a massive burden on Herrera there.. even on FIFA.

I would love to see that. I think Mkhi played in midfield for Dortmund quite a lot in his last year. He would basically be our Lallana in that he has great work rate but dexterity to navigate the pitch at deadly precision.
