I would take Griezmann over Bale . I know it's crazy but I believe that former will turn out to be a better player simply because of his better technique and vision. Bale has loads of pace to burn and great finishing abilities but his vision let's him down a bit. Plus, Griezmann is a united fan so that would simply be awesome to have one after a long time. A true united fan playing for united, and not that when players sign for us, they customarily say that they have been united fan all their lives.
After having my cock out the whole month for Pedro and then putting it firmly back in has made my cock very disfigured so Griezmann can actually help me a lot physically

So if he is a united fan, and suppose to have a buyout clause of 56mil, so Woody has just to pay that amount and things will be done within a couple of days right? This is so ON.

Me too. We aren't getting either though :-p

Griezmann is quality. How would we use him? Centrally? On the left or on the right? Doesn't he play as a second striker for Atleti?

Muppet signing this, but based on the games so far, most probably he would take Januzaj position just playing off Rooney.

I haven't watched him at all in the last year or so, but I estimate he's now able to play as the #9, #10 and operate from wide. Also he can play centreback. Dream signing.

Surely he'd be that second striker we need. If he's playing Januzaj there it's probably to make a point to Woody how much we need one.

2-3 weeks ago his release clause was lower. Why didn't we buy him then?

This thread is epic, the caf muppets creating its own saga without any source linking us to him

Yet again hearts are going to be broken

No way atletico sell him this late, could have had a chance earlier in the window but doubt they will go for it now even if we are interested.

If we keep this thread going strong, the media will pick the idea up, and before we know it we're in for him!

Gotta love the caf during muppet season.

I scored a ton load of goals with him on FIFA 15. This would be a right proper muppet signing! But would he fit the philosophy though?

Someone setup a petition.

I'm confident we'd get at least 10,000 people to sign it. The tabloids will pick up on it, which will lead to the club hearing about it; which will then hopefully prompt them to 'please the supporters' after letting us all down with the Pedro deal.

:lol::lol: Since when has the club ever done anything to "please" the supporters. I think that's very hopeful thinking unfortunately.

He is the sort of player we need to be looking at. Unfortunately regardless of performance Rooney will not be dropped so we need someone who has the quality to improve one of our other front 3 positions, but they also need to be comfortable as a striker to replace Rooney when injured/suspended.

I believe that by next season Rooney will be on the subs bench unless he sum how has a worldie season (which isnt going to happen by the looks of things)

If we meet the release clause do they need to sell him automatically or it's not that simple.

If he has a release clause, yes it's that simple because it's between the player and the club. But if you are talking about the buy out clause then no it's not that simple, they can refuse the money, in that case only the player can free himself from his contract, he can be helped by his future club.

Wait people wait...

Manchester United are considering a move for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann (Daily Star)

So there you have it guys... The daily star have printed it so this must be true! We are going to make a move for him.

OR

Someone who writes for the daily star has been on here, seen this thread and decided to give us something to talk about.

Don't believe there is anything in this, well just yet anyway. If we make a move for any big players now it won't be until Thursday, and dependent on us qualifying for the Champions League imo.

another day. Any more interesting news on the Griezmann front fellow muppets?.

Come on Woody
