We'be beaten a lot of clubs to Pogba and will do so to sign Antoine.
These aren't one horse races here.

is it true hes a utd fan or is that just his brother? if so hes ours :smirk:
There's never been anything officially confirming that he's a Utd fan. But it seems very likely since his brother is such an obvious fan and the fact that he's confirmed that he's a huge Beckham fanboy (Becks is the reason he wears long sleeves and takes the number 7).

Griezmann's father is Alsatian which means he could've grown up with some German influence... on the other hand his mother is Portuguese and her father was a footballer. According to Wikipedia, he often spent his childhood summers in Portugal... hopefully, this gives some edge to Mourinho.

He literally did an interview on national tv only mentioning joining us, now asked to leave and your still trying to throw doubt in you guys are eternal pessimists :lol::lol:
Yeah, but how many open goals have we missed this season? Cause for concern, surely.

That isn't a Woodward quote. He is basically telling woodward it's an open goal, don't miss. He's always been very critical of Woodward.
Why people choose to use colons for no reason like that will never cease to tick me off

There were a lot of reports on Griezmann being a huge United fan around the time we played Sociedad in the CL. Can't remember if there were quotes but he wasn't exactly a huge player back then so doubt those reports were untrue.

It's on! Can't wait to see him perform the Hotline Bling after scoring the winning goal at the Stretford End

No wonder he runs so quickly.

No one wants to play in the Boringliga these days so feck Bayern - Griezmann is ours

Bayern can have Alexis from Arse.

Linking up with countrymen Pogba would definitely be a lure for Antonio. Should tip us in our favor

He brought his family over to a Utd game a few years ago during their Xmas break.

Is he coming in a package deal with that Niguez Saul? Cause that'd be awesome.

Get that Franco-Spanish connection going on at the club.

What's Bayern's record fee, €40m for Martinez? No chance in hell they spend more than double that for Griez.

He's ours.

Just waiting for the links with someone like Bayern to send the fans into meltdown. Happened with Madrid and Pogba last season.

This one is in the bag!

Must admit I'm confused as to why he would need to tell the club he wants to leave, he has a buy out surely we pay it and there's nothing the club can do?

I think it's a technicality. I think he has to buy his contract out (it's not a release clause, it's a buy out clause between he and the club), so he's making his intentions to do so formal. Who pays it is irrelevant.

I think.

I sincerely believe if he were to leave, we would be his first choice because he's a United muppet himself. Then you add Pogba and there's really's no debate. The only stop would be Atletico demanding a ridiculous fee of about £200 million or something.

Just to keep you on your toes As are reporting this is false and in fact he is negotiating a new contract with a higher wage. :nervous:

Given the amount of absolute rubbish AS print I wouldn't worry. Was it them who kept plugging the Pogba to Madrid lines last summer?

Everybody in the media is backing up this Ruiz lad as being very reliable and close to the players, so I have no current reason to doubt his intel. Not only would it require his intel to be wrong, but it would be the exact *opposite* of the truth.

Does it scare anyone else that the report is "he's asked to leave the club" rather than "he informs the club he's going to Manchester United"? Maybe I'm just paranoid
When players tell the club they are leaving, they don't say where. Legally it can be interpreted as breach of contract

Bayern already has a very similar second striker type player in Muller that Ancelotti can't figure out how to use. Griezmann makes zero sense for them.

Which can't happen due to his release clause.
