What do think of the (supposedly) imminent signing of Anthony Martial?

He looks like as ready as Lazar Markovic, if we bought him to start then I'm really worried, if we bought him for the future than the fee is brutal..

I look forwards to taking up my new position as Manchester United's head scout in the coming months... :D

In all seriousness, he was fantastic in that match though. So quick and the Arsenal defence couldn't get near him!

He was brilliant in that match, it's why I'm so surprised so many people haven't heard of him, apparently.

Surely a large chunk would have watched that game, so they've either forgotten about him, or just felt like a moan.

Bellerin won't be happy to see him in the PL.

Januzaj has been loaned, not sold. Depay, Martial, and Januzaj are all about the future of this club (hopefully, they pan out).
Wilson and periera as well
Plus shaw, mcnair and even Jones is only 23

Giggs must be hoping he gets a shot at being manager in 2 years as we could be about to see a very good team of young talents mature

I read that - Bellerin is quite an interesting player. That's good to know that he can cause him some problems as not many will get the better of him with his pace.

Worried he won't hit the ground running immediately and in United, a youngster usually has only 2 seasons to prove himself.

Sure it's been answered but where will he play? Back up/replacement for Rooney, or Mata's competition on the right?

Seems very explosive and quick p and a good dribbler from the YouTubes.

How's his play with back to goal?

Hope we tie him down to a 10 year contract....can't have him fecking off to Madrid in a couple of years!

So when Rooney picks the lineup, where will he play this kid?
Either up front or on the right, with Rooney in the hole (or up top if Martial is on the right). Really excited to see this kid though, he offers loads of movement and ability on the ball, he had a very decent game individually against PSG even though they lost 3-0 and he was feeding off scraps up front, against Luiz and Silva. So I think he's definitely capable of handling it physically speaking.

Now we'll have Memphis and him making runs in behind though, which is what we needed. He's nowhere close to the finished article, but just being the type of player he is, I think/hope he'll surprise a lot of people in the impact he has on our attack. Simply having another player like him takes a lot of pressure of memphis being the only one making those runs and having pace in our attack.

If we don't bring an established striker in then there is going to be a ridiculous amount of pressure on this 19 year old lad to perform week in week out.

No, the pressure to perform week in week out is on our fecking 300k a week captain.

Of course they would say that.

Even if the add ons are worth 30 million euros, for them to all be fulfilled we'd probably have to win the league/champions league, Martial would probably need to average 40 apps/20 goals a season and become a regular starter for France. In which case, money well spent.
