Oh dear! - some Spurs fans are NOT happy at hearing that Martial will NOT be playing for them next season. They WANT WANT WANT, and stamp their feet and get all huffy because DADDY is not giving them what they WANT WANT WANT.

But DADDY can't give them what they WANT WANT WANT because - and contrary to what they've led to believe - DADDY has to deal with other daddies, some of whom couldn't give a stuffed parrot for what DADDY'S little children WANT WANT WANT.

So DADDY'S little children will have to wait until Xmas for their next batch of shiny new toys, even tho' they got tired of the last lot before the end of January had arrived and soon WANTED WANTED WANTED more.

Hope we tell them to feck off also give them Martial's used boots as some token gift.

Would be a nightmare. I'd imagine if Martial goes to somewhere else, anywhere else like a Spurs, Arsenal or something he'd be banging in goals finally getting to play up front. Out of all our attackers he is the most talented and dangerous.

In rotation with Kane that would be savage. They'd finally have another goal scoring option and with the way they play he'd bang in goals.

I'd say they bid £25/30m. In a market where they sold Walker for £50m, nothing short of £80m would be considered a reasonable sale. Saying that, there's no chance I'd sell Martial, never mind to Spurs (who have refused to sell us Bale, Modric and Dier in the last few years).

Honestly does this mean Spurs have fecked up in the market and are now panic bidding?

He might compete with Son for a starting slot, but the latter scored 21 goals and made several assists for Spurs last season ... so he wouldn't exactly be easily displaced.

Of course. Son was fantastic last season.

Could even see Eriksen deeper, which I think Poch has done in pre season, with Son and Martial flanking Alli and Kane up top.

No way José sells to strengthen a rival, he's too smart for such a dumb move.

Lets not do this weeb shit

No way should we give Martial to anyone.

What in the feck is this  Spurs have as much chance getting Martial as we have Neymar from PSG. Levy is panicing big time.

Can't we do a PSG and poach a player in retaliation for their cheek? :(

Usually you bid when you've got the go ahead from the player. I'd be very disappointed if that's the case.

So off the back of Danny Rose's negative comments, Levy has went and placed panic bids for Davidson Sanchez and Martial a few days later? Too little too late, baldy.

I really want to know the value of their bid just so I can laugh even more. They demanded £50m for Walker and rejected £50m for Dier, yet I bet these pathetic jokers bid even less than that for Martial.

Knowing Levy probably offered us a bag of crisps and fiver for Martial. Cheap bstrd wants a world record fee for his players.

£30m at a push, yeah, I'm serious. Ed probably laughed at him as he slammed the phone down.

Tell you what though, that spurs side with an on form martial and a talent fulfilling Davinson Sanchez is quite the prospect.

No figures mentioned? I don't want to sell him, but I'm interested to know what Spurs think would be a realistic offer for him, given what they demand for their own players.

Time to start offering 300k/week to Spurs top players just for shit and giggles, and then see Spurs crach and burn.

On a serious note, how did Spurs think that this is a good idea? Even if United wants to sell, then Martial would actually need to take a paycut to join them. He earns more money than Alli, and Spurs aren't making him the third highest payer after Kane and Lloris.

Levy/Spurs always pull some shit like this at the end of transfer window, doesn't he? Not sure if it's linked to Danny Rose, but as usual it's penny pinching at a late stage hoping to turn the player's head (Or Spurs fan may say 'smart businesc..s/living within means') et

I know we won't sell. I'm saying Is being disappointed if he felt the need to leave. But I couldn't blame him if he did.

Martial has stated clearly on numerous occasions this summer that he wants to stay at United. If he were to leave, Spurs certainly wouldn't be his destination. They couldn't afford to pay the inital asking fee or grant him his wage demands. Plus Levy doesn't give his players a release clause and you could bet your life that Martial would be requesting one.

Levy is acting purely out of desperation more than anything I think.

I'd sell him to Spurs for 50m+. I hate to give up on young players so soon, but I don't think he fits Mourinho's system at all, and he just looks like a miserable cnut all the time.

From having sky high expectations after his first season, I now have rock bottom ones a year later.

I'd prefer to pocket the cash and use it towards a deal for Mbappe or Dembele.
