Anthony Martial to Spurs | Bouhafsi : "Bid rejected"

Poch salivating. Could be an amazing buy for them. Martial must decide now and see what is best for himself. Some now famous players have all made a difficult choice like this (we have one playing for us) and gone on to do big things.
If he goes to Spurs, he's very likely to tear it up and become one of the best forwards in the league. Spurs would demand too much if we wanna get him back or would rather sell abroad.

I like Martial a lot but that would be a very unpleasant scenario for me as a United fan.

Doesn't matter if we don't want to sell.

Why do we have so many drama queens on the Caf?

United don't want to sell. Martial doesn't want to leave. It's a squad game and he played as much as Rashford last season including starting in the cup final.

Just enjoy him and be grateful we have such talent.

Its mental to think we would let him leave or that he even wants to for a smaller club.

David De Gea is still with us ffs. Dont think Tony would ever move to another premier league club, let alone spuds.

Goal and an assist today. Tight-arse Levy will be having palpitations.

25m just went to 125m. What a joke. This kid has all the ability in the world. If his attitude comes around he will be sublime.

Worry not brother, Spurs cannot afford him.

Really is that simple.

you had to google penfold? danger mouse is the fecking best dude, watch it now

I seen Danger Mouse years ago but I can't remember Penfold. Seeing the images pop up on Google had me in stiches thinking about that little bald twat Levy

Martial is here to stay especially how he played today. He came off the bench and he was subbing in for Rashford who had a near perfect game today. He came on and from the get go, he ran at Zabaleta and was a constant attack. He scored and he assisted. He just needs to be keep playing and more importantly working hard to be consistent. He'll get a lot of opportunities here with all the games we've got to play this season. Somehow, I don't think Perisic is required here. Yes, I know we shouldn't get carried away with the West Ham game, but I feel Martial will be much better this season and more importantly, we should bring in Dembele and like how PSG showed Barca, we could make a statement with getting Dembele who would offer similar (if not better) dribbling than Martial but on the right side of wing.

Did Spurs actually bid 25m or is that a joke?

Edit: I know they've bid, but I don't know the amount.

Levy is a scumbag

I really look forward to a moment in the future where we'll end up with one of their better players after their stars become disgruntled on wasting their time and start putting in transfer requests

Surprised they didn't come in for Lingard instead. They're playing every home game at Wembley. Lingard would bang in 15-20 easily for them.

Next year, mate.

3,2,1....

:lol::lol:

This whole bid is surely a joke right? Some way of Spurs playing games in the media to try prove some point to their fans or players? If they rejected an pretty decent offer for Dier from us would they even think that we would entertain the idea of selling to them for (allegedly) pittance?

They want us to pay 50-70 mil for Dier and they have the cheek to bid 25 mil for Martial, feck me. I know people are saying that Levy is a genius in negotiations but we ain't idiot either.

£25m?

Hahaha, it'll be a long time before I stop laughing at this one.

Levy should be taken to the cleaners. I really hope one of these days he needs to take a dump at an airport washroom which has run out of toilet paper and the only way to do his business would be to buy it from Woodward who is at the adjacent box for 1 million pounds per cm. Let's see if he employs his wait and watch negotiation tactic then.

Is it 25m they offered? Clearly Levy cannot be taken seriously by anyone. They are a complete joke.

Why are people getting so worked up about what Levy does? It has next to 0 bearing on anything.

Spurs can't afford Martial and if he were to ever leave (conceivable, if unlikely) we'd only sell him abroad as we've done in the past with our players.

This.

Spurs can't even afford Danny Rose's wages, where do people get the idea they can pay Tony Martial?

It's not getting worked up, it's more about the ridiculous discrepancy between what they think their squad players are worth and what other's players are worth. Hence, they can't be taken seriously.

You're basing this off a rumour that they bid £25m for Martial that is not coming from any credible sources that I can see. If they did bid that much, it would have been Levy just taking the piss or testing to see if he can upset Martial.

He knows how much players are worth. Especially 21yo with Martial's trajectory and reputation when belonging to a rival. He might be many things but Levy is not an idiot.

Wooow, a lot of anger and hate towards Levy here for unverified rumours

Anyway, this is a completely pointless rumour as, for a long list of rumours, this won't happen, even if the initial rumours are true.

Dear lord, just read about the rumored bid for Martial from Spurs. What a fecking joke. Maybe we should put in a bid of around 30 million each for Kane and Alli to see how Levy responds.

It's not that hard to disbelieve the reported bid and the amount. Levy always waits until the end of the transfer widow to see if he can negotiate and haggle his way to a bargain.

How much did Spurs sell Kyle walker for?

Martial has to be worth today somewhere in the region of 45-65million of anyones money! Hes still very young and is a clinical finisher.

Him playing LM isnt helping as I dont think he likes to defend so CF is his best position. That being said even at spurs he would be 2nd to Harry Kane uptop.

I hope he gives us another season, especially as were gonna be fighting on 4 fronts, he's bound to get a good run in the team. After yesterday he may even start next game. If he he doesnt progress this season at all and cant fight into the team then maybe for his sake he should look elsewhere, but for now, stay and fight and be part of something special.

You're laughing at the bid but doesn't this mean Martial has been touted around by United and his agent?

Depends on if there even is a bid. It's just a media story for now.

I do suspect his agent is touting him about, largely to show United that there are interested parties out there for Martial if they mess him about.
