Managers prefer some players to others based on circumstances. It could be wrong, like Jose and de Bruyne for example, or it could be right. Doesn't mean Jose and Martial hate each other's guts or there is a soap-opera brewing.

I totally agree just saying I know how Jose is and the way he had set the team up there.. it wouldn't have brought the best out of Martial. I'm sure Martial as much as he wants minutes wants to be able to give a proper account of himself.
