Not really.
As it stands, Martial has been excellent mostly in games vs teams we can dominate without problems (CSKA, Burton, Benfica) or when subbed in late in games. He is yet to start a difficult game and look special. For now he's been mostly a fantastic sub. Which shouldn't be underestimated either, his contributions as a sub are quite important, especially vs Spurs.

He's been as much a bench player as Rashford.
6 CL/PL games in the first XI. The only one where he's scored or assisted is against CSKA.

Not in the league, Rashford has significantly more playing time. Rashford's 607 minutes to Martial's 267 minutes.
Jose clearly prefers Rashford at the moment and I have no issue with that as long as both do well.
Odd that people want to downplay the achievements of our young players. Player of the month 2 months running suggests he's doing great. Trying to pick holes in Martial or Rashford just seems wrong to me. Why be that miserable? They're both brilliant and playing really well.
Martial is developing well. Just compare him now to this time last year (and compare him to Shaw over the same period). This season is about building him up - next season we'll see him and Rashford together.

I have an opinion which is different to a lot of people. I am usually discussing my point with multiple people because it's a bit controversial. I don't know what else people want me to do. I do like discussing topics like these, I find it interesting and there's always something new to talk about. I have said what I like and dislike about Martial. I'm sorry if the majority is not positive. I am trying to add some balance to the topic. A lot of the time Mourinho gets a lot of criticism and I feel there is another way to look at things.
Considering the type of player he is, I don't think he is good enough to have a title challenging team built around him. He has to improve on parts of his game.
